The service was acceptable, staff were courteous and polite. I asked for a room change to a higher floor because the bathroom was different from the pics advertised, but was not entertained because apparently they were out of suites and this was the last suite they had for me, even though I had booked and fully prepaid the room almost a week in advance. Asked for a late checkout, also declined. Room was clean but sp****, quite basic for a suite. The only thing that was really impressive was the selection and quality of the buffet spread; food was good. Apart from that, this really was just an adequate and forgettable stay, what with room service ending at 9:30 pm, even earlier than dinner time. St Regis KL catered to late night room service already when I stayed there the weekend before this one, so it’s not because of mco restrictions, Le Méridien probably just did not want the extra business. Anyway, not very happy with how things turned out and probably won’t return.
