Saziye was a very kind host to our party of 3 adults and a toddler. Quiet rooms and within walking distance of all the historic sights in Selcuk and several fun restaurants. Staff’s welcoming hospitality and accommodating energy (especially with an active little toddler) made this place a safe home base between travel activities.

Had a delightful stay here for a few nights. The hosts are really sweet and welcoming, the rooms feel very homely, and the roof terrace is a really nice place to chill out and watch the sunset over the hills. It's tucked away on a quiet little street so there's no traffic noise, and it's very close to walk to St John's Basilica, the town centre and the train station.

Hyperauthentic, tranquil and cosy place to stay, in walking distance of main attractions. Rich breakfast with homemade jams. There is no TV in rooms. Strong free wi-fi. Friendly and easygoing staff. There is a space for a car to park.

First and foremost, we were welcomed with open arms to Homeros Pension & Guesthouse. But it doesn't stop there. Our room was extremely clean and the included breakfast was generous and varied, including egg, bread, cheeses, fruit, vegetables and an array of condiments. We opted for a twin, which was an exceptional deal. The showerhead needs some attention but still got the job done.

I had stayed at Homeros when I had been in Selcuk about 5 years ago and had a good experience. The hosts are still friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The room definitely had a local comfortable feel, not the typical hotel room. The Homeros attracts people from many places in the world, so it's fun to meet people in the breakfast room.

My wife and I stayed here as part of a trip to Turkey in August/September 2023. Ok, I really like this place! The vibe and the ambiance of the hotel are amazing and make you feel like you have been transported to another world, which isn't that the point of travelling? The location is pretty good, close to the train station and to downtown Selcuk where all of the restaurants are, and also quite close to the Ephesus museum and the main road to Ephesus. The staff were friendly and the free breakfast was delicious and VERY authentic. No where is perfect though, and I do have some suggestions: 1) Accept credit card payments, at least for the room. It was quite alarming to arrive at the hotel and find out that I had to pay for the whole thing in cash. It nearly wiped out our Turkish cash reserves. It would be much easier if the accepted credit card, at least for the payment of the room. 2) Give complimentary bottles of water to your guests when they arrive. This is more of a gripe I have with Turkish hotels in general, rather than this one specifically, but normally when I stay in a place where the tap water isn't safe to drink, the hotel will give us complimentary bottles of water on arrival, but hotels in Turkey did not seem to do that. Come on, the bottles are not that expensive and its like 35C outside, I need a drink after a long journey! Overall though, my wife and I loved this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely beautiful place. The hostess was very friendly, lovely terrace with views over the town. Its in a fabulous location too. St John Bascillia only 2 mins walk away. Lots of cafes & restaurants nearby too. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
