The rooms are private, and spartan but allow for a quiet getaway from the relentless hustle and bustle of the world. The continuous lapping sound of the ocean waves just outside your room door is amazing and refreshing. The food is good too especially the Sunday special coconut.

Very nice place, clean and space. Great breakfast buffet in the Morning and nice menu at night. Two Pools; Access Top the beach Waves are heavy so we did not geht in.Pumpy mud road might requiere 4 wheels drive of Jeep. Hope to geh back anytime soon

We stayed here 2 nights while touring Ouidah. It is some distance from town on a road that is undergoing lots of construction. It is a lovely beachside hotel, very nice. No wifi in the rooms, only in the office or restaurant. They did a good job with our laundry. The bed was comfortably soft. The square bed pillows were a bit strange. The shower is not contained and gets water all over the bathroom floor. I think we were the only guests the first night, so there was no breakfast buffet, but a decent selection of breakfast food. The second morning there was a buffet breakfast to accommodate a group of guests who had come in the night before. The evening meals were good, but not available until 7:30pm. The service was excellent. There is a spa across the road, but we did not use it. Most of the front desk staff does not speak English.

The hotel is very relaxing with welcoming staff. The rooms have a very relaxing look, white walls, bed sheets and wardrobes. The hotel has sea-view rooms as well as lake-view rooms, I took the sea-view rooms which allows cool breeze for the ocean and the refreshing crashing of the waves. The food is great and the service friendly, I must commend the manager for being very hospitable even to non-French speaking visitors. Excellent place.

We had a great stay at casa del papa. Felt in paradise! Staff are friendly, amazing breakfast, very attentive host and what a view! (Ocean side) Also amazing place to take photos of the stars! ⭐️ Only thing to be attentive to is restaurant (and thus bar) closing at 22h. (Water , evening drinks) In itself not a problem, also ensures no drunkenness !

A really nice hotel with individual chalets set within the palm fringed beach. A short walk to the restaurant. The chalets are well appointed with a veranda and all you can hear at night is the sound of the surf.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa Del Papa. The staff are just brilliant - really friendly and welcoming (a particular shout out to the restaurant manager, who took time to chat to and welcome every table of guests in his restaurant, including us). The rooms are simple but clean and had everything we needed (no kettle/ drinks-making facilities but our experience is that is common in Benin). The three pools are a wonderful respite from the heat and humidity and it’s lovely being next to the sea. The spa was lovely if a little tired looking, but we were told it is about to be renovated, along with a renovation of the wider hotel. We would be very keen to re-visit once those works are completed in a few years’ time.

We had abeach-front room which was very pleasant and had a great view of the sea. The staff were all very pleasant and willing to help, and the food was excellent. If it weren't so far away, it's the kind of place I'd go back to for a relaxing weekend.

Wonderful resort on the beach, you hear the waves lapping from your bungalow. Rooms are decently large, with a nice patio. There are no frills… no coffee/tea or hair dryer but they gave me a small bottle of water and there were shampoo and shower gel. The bathroom is basic, you flood it when showering. Dinner was buffet and very good. Breakfast is buffet too, good, average choice. Wifi is working everywhere.
