"I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the room itself was alright, my overall experience was quite disappointing. Before arrival, I was not sent the entrance door PIN code, so I ended up waiting outside the hotel in the hot weather. At the entrance, there was only a phone number displayed with no other instructions. As a traveler, I didn’t have a SIM card that could make calls to Japanese numbers, which made things even more difficult.
I was soaking wet from the heat and tried messaging the hotel, but received no response. Eventually, someone else came out, and they told me they also hadn’t received the entrance PIN code prior arrival and had been waiting for a long time as well.
Once I finally got inside, the self check-in process was very slow—the page just kept loading and wouldn’t proceed. I used the hotel’s iPad to message the front desk, but their status showed “do not disturb,” and I had to wait a long time before anyone replied.
Overall, the whole process was very frustrating and the experience was quite poor."
