So nice to stay in such an old charm hotel with very friendly service, especially from the person who helped us parking our EV car. Would definitely stay here again!

We came here for a quick getaway! The hotel is perfectly located with quick walks to River Street and the busy shopping/dining of Broughton Street. It’s a great value for your money and the rooms are quaint and quiet.

My room was nice and clean. There was not very nany areas in the room such as tables or dressers for placing personal affects. Also, no bar or restaurant was Northbrook on site.

Don’t be deceived by the pictures of the rooms. The pics are old and the rooms are old and very worn out. The bathroom was old and didn’t seem too clean because it was worn out. There is no daily room cleaning so I wouldn’t stay more than 1 night.

Fewer staff than in the “old days.” No more breakfast on the mezzanine, and no room cleaning during our 2-day stay. But: ******* got us a great price, and the location is still very nice. Can be noisy outside, especially on weekends.

I liked where the property was located. I liked they brought me a refrigerator when I asked about one. There was no microwave in room. But was able to ask desk to heat something. But, when leaving early in morning the woman at the front desk told me microwave wasn’t working (it had been 6hrs. before) so that was a bit troublesome for me. (It’s possible, but I didn’t believe her)

Great location and super friendly staff. Our only issue and it was kinda a biggy… the whole place smells like mold!
