I could not have been more disappointed. Many staff seem to have no idea they actually do anything for a living—and they don't: porters who don't carry bags, check-in people who can't check you in, et al. The rooms were less charming than old, dumpy and unrenovated. The many, effusive reviews of this very worst example I have ever encountered of the Relais & Château brand, including its often lazy, sometimes slovenly staff, simply boggle my mind.
