Beautiful hotel with amazing viev of sea Very comfortable bed and spacious room Small pool for children and bigger for adult that's so good Delicious food Kind and helpful people

Can't believe why people have been so negative about this hotel , when you book surely you know it's a budget hotel ? For the price we payed , I thought it was good value . Massive rooms , comfortable beds , never a problem getting a sunbed around the pool . Very clean , the domestic staff were always cleaning and mopping ! All the staff in general work really hard , they deserve a pay rise ! So many people have moaned about the food , but from my perspective, it was fine .Try a bit of everything rather than wanting bacon and eggs every day ! Plenty of salad and potato/ Russian salad , paella was on for lunch , lots of pasta with sauces ( mainly tomato ) , lots of fruit , the bread was ok with delicious jams ., nice thick yogurts . And Canarian mojo sauces with the canarian potatoes . Coffee was ok, fruit juice so /so Liked how there was proper Coke , Coke Zero , Fanta , Sprite on tap and San Miguel on tap at lunch and at the pool bar . The Sangria and spirits were nt had either ! Yes it would have been good to have better meat options for evening meal and maybe a bit of ice cream at the pool bar but we did nt go hungry . We did nt really stay in at night , did play bingo just once though ! We always managed to get back for a drink before the bar shut and you could take drinks up to your room . If you're looking for a base to explore the island , this hotel is well connected by the buses , and taxis are nt too badly priced, (we went to Playas Las Americas on the bus €8.90 then got a taxi back one night which was €43 ) Alcala and Playa San Juan were close by and very nice , if you did nt fancy the walk to Los Gigantes, as it might be too hilly for some , the bus goes there as well , (very good Irish bar in Los Gigantes ! ) There s a few little bars in Puerto de Santiago and just a short walk is Playa del Arena with a few more to try . Really enjoyed our break in Tenerife , the weather was fantastic too which was a bonus !

In every way met our requirements, clean, well equiped, great location, very kind staff. The swimming pool adjusted to kids and adults, has a sun most of the day. The food from the pool's bar is ok. All in all everything is there for one pleasant stay

Loved this hotel , very peaceful and close to restaurant's and beach . We went all inclusive, not bad , great food but found ourselves eating out in the evening. Would recommend bed and breakfast only .Rooms are spacious and comfortable with aircon and very comfortable bed's with memory foam mattresses. Staff all extremely friendly. Spotless and clean hotel . Taxi to airport 50 euros, local trips 5-8 euros . Will definitely return .

Our 2nd visit to this comfortable, very friendly, quiet & laid back hotel. Dining room and pool area have been updated very nicely since our last visit, and we were told that work is in progress on the bedrooms. The new appearance is spot on, with glass and gloss white replacing painted concrete balustrades…..massive grey tiles replacing old fashioned terracotta coloured tiles on the terrace/pool area. Food is good, suite style bedrooms are very spacious, and if you pay for the sea view rooms, you have a great view of La Gomera across the sea and can watch the fantastic sunsets from your good sized balcony. In my opinion this hotel offers exceptional value for money and my wife and I are definitely planning another visit at some point.

Decent food for an A/I. Lovely pool area with handy bar. All but one member of staff is great, assets to the hotel. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Beds are comfortable. One slight negative is the room was dated, but I understand it’s being improved shortly. Would definitely return.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The accommodation is more geared towards older travelers. Evening animation is weak. The elevators are very small, designed for 2-4 persons.Natasha, the hotel employee, is always pleasant. The food is of good quality, but lacks variety.

I really cannot understand the negative reviews for this hotel. I will definitely be returning. On arrival we were met by a friendly receptionist who checked us in. Room: Our room was at the back of the hotel above the kitchen. It was quite noisy in the morning, however the room was spotless clean, with towel changes everyday. It was a little tired in places, the hotel is going through a makeover. Food: I really liked the food here, plenty of choices to suit all tastes, hot and tasty. Lovely fresh salad bar, beautiful cakes, fruits, yoghurts and ice cream. Only thing I wasn’t keen on was the juice option in a morning, I prefer pure orange to orange juice. Pool: I loved the fact the pool didn’t open until 10. No mad rush for sun beds, always plenty. The pool was freezing, however it was only March. I liked the pool bar, it served nice cappuccino, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, option to make fresh sandwiches, biscuits, hotdogs and burgers were served in an afternoon. Entertainment: Bingo,Karaoke, children entertainment. An outside act came one night which was enjoyable.

We are still here until Wednesday, family of 2 adults and 2 children (11 & 14 years) all inclusive basis and my parents on half board. This is our experiences so far.... Rooms - very spacious but not a lot of furniture. The proper beds are very comfortable. The sofa bed is not too bad but you do roll into the middle. We did not pay extra for a sea view so we are at the back of the hotel. My parents did pay for sea view and it is a lot nicer having that view rather than backing on to other hotels. Rooms are clean but tired looking. Fresh towels are not always left but are brought to room when I asked for them. Same with toilet roll, only 1 left for us but when I asked they brought another. There is a pump on the wall of shower gel and hand wash but no other complimentary toiletries. Lovely big balcony with table and chairs. Staff - Dumi, the entertainer is great, friendly and tries to involve everyone. There is a lady who works in the restaurant who is lovely and helpful. The barman is rude and abrupt and told me off for standing in the wrong place at the bar. The restaurant manager is very rude. I got a tumbler of wine from the restaurant at dinner for me and my mum. I didn't realise you couldn't for half board. The restaurant manager starting shouting at me in the middle of the restaurant then had a big argument with my husband. I had apologised for my error but he was rude and aggressive. We later saw a QR code on the table which when scanned, shows a drink menu. We don't find the staff helpful or accomodating. With a couple of exceptions, we find them rude and unhelpful which unfortunately would stop us returning or booking another Bluesea hotel. Entertainment - There is a schedule of entertainment next to the lift but I think it's old as it doesn't tally with entertainment that is on. The entertainment does feel like a holiday camp but is ok ish. Bingo, mini disco, macarana etc. Pool - good depth for children, not too cold once you're in. No floaties or balls allowed for children. One child was just pushing a ball along to swim to it and was told off. There is a small bubbly pool which I thought was a mini jacuzzi so sat in it. The lifeguard ran over to tell me it's only for children so I couldn't sit in it (there was no one else in it). Food and drink - easy to find a table at all mealtimes. Breakfast is good. Selection of pastries, toast, cereal, hot breakfast, continental. Lunch and dinner is ok. We haven't been hungry but there is not much of a selection and some of the foods are odd. Puddings are good and we had a chocolate fountain last night which was nice. Pool snack bar is lacking. packets of biscuits and some bread to make sandwiches then cold pink looking burgers for hot snacks. Not great but we got by. For half board guests, if a waiter came to take a drink order at dinner or if it was more obvious that the QR code was a drink menu, it would stop any confusion when there is a pump for beer and wine.
