I’ll start with the positive. The people who made and served our breakfast were as good as you could ever ask for! Delightful people! They were the stars of service at this hotel.
Before we arrived, we got a message from the hotel asking for a resort fee! When we arrived, we paid the fee, but we noticed that there were no amenities for our use outside of our room, other than a couple of chairs outside some of the doors of the rooms. This hotel is definitely not a resort. Our room was substantially less clean that it needed to be. There was a thick layer of “crud“ where the dishes were stacked in the kitchen. The living room had vinyl strips that had come disconnected, and were a trip hazard! The bathroom had holes in the walls and patches that were left unpainted. We were there five of our six days and never had anyone come to our room to exchange towels, or any of the normal things cleaning personnel do. We we’re frustrated, so we checked out a day early and reported our concerns to two of the front desk people, and we were not offered any assistance to correct the problems. They said it was our fault for not coming to ask for fresh towels, and simply said sorry and goodbye.
