Vila Angatu Eco Resort Spa

Beautiful place, great service and amazing atmosphere. Me and my family had an amazing time are Vila Angatu. Food was great, rooms are comfortable and always clean, the beach is pleasant and perfect for children. Hopefully we’ll be back very soon. ❤️

The hotel has an impressive entrance, a big, winding pool, and access to one of the best beaches in Santo Andre, so it appears high-end, but it's actually more like a 2–star, large volume, all-inclusive family-style resort. The interiors are not high-end, the rooms are austere and very sp****ly decorated - no chairs, no sofas, no desk, no luggage stands, the floors are tiled with large, institutional-style glossy white tiles, the bathroom tiles are painted over, and the fixtures are old and very basic. Devoid of charm and character. No channels were available on the TV in my room, and the WiFi was choppy. One afternoon, the power went out for several hours, which happens, but they should have offered some type of compensation to the guests, a free drink or something. That is one of the differences between 4–5-star service and 2-star service. As far as the service, it was bare-bones. The front desk staff were aloof, generally not personable, and at times seemed (oddly) distrustful. Some of the waiters were very friendly and efficient, but most of the wait staff appeared overwhelmed and were not very attentive. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good enough, with several options, but the dining rooms are large, and brightly lit, which made me feel as if I were eating at a high-school cafeteria. I do not recommend the hotel for solo or couples.

Thia local is very nice, this place is beautiful, stunning. a very calm beach surrounded by greenery, attentive and kind service without being “affected”. very comfortable cottages facing the sea. Sun and good vibes all the year. Good drinks and food

The hotel is excellent, incredible food, many options very day, very clean room, everything working perfectly. Staff is great! Very loving, kind, good vibes people, actually is what I would say about most people from Bahia. I will give some feedbacks only in the intention of trying to help you guys improve even better: 1) I really miss the hammocks(rede) to lay down and relax. You guys have an huge grass area close by the pool with the coqueiros, you could put many there, I felt you could explore the infrastructure around the garden too instead of only around the pool. 2) The day me and my wife left, we had to leave 30min before the breakfast be served. I talked to the staff in the reception to see if we could at least drink a black coffee to wake up for the journey, I knew already It wasn't possible to have breakfast before the time, but we wanted just to drink some coffee! And you guys have the machine there, we wouldn't need anyone from the staff for that. I know it's a huge hotel and you need some "restrictions", but I felt you could have been more flexible, try to find a middle way. Anyway, is not because of that I won't give 5 stars, but smalls things makes difference as well. Thank you for everything! Much love Wadi

Não dá pra compreender o que leva um empresário a construir um hotel megalomaníaco no meio de uma praia semi deserta, com 122 aptos. Onde na sua lotação completa,  pretende despejar num trecho pequeno de praia tranquila, cerca de 250 a 400 pessoas, mesmo que em revezamento.   Praias que recebem desova de tartarugas marinhas, onde todos os demais estão preocupados com a preservação,  proibindo inclusive circulação e luzes na praia a noite, o Vila Angatu, ao contrário,  por vezes coloca um som altíssimo desde o almoço até as 22 horas, incomodando qualquer ser vivo que circule por ali. Sem falar no alto índice de desmatamento de mata nativa. Um verdadeiro desserviço ao meio ambiente. Só vá se vc, assim como eles, tbem não estiver nem aí pra preservação do local. Se pudesse definir com um unico adjetivo, seria "sinistro".

O lugar do Vila Angatu é muito agradável, praia ótima e entorno muito gostoso. A estrutura é boa, ficamos nos quartos da parte que imita Paraty, é excelente porque são quartos grandes e perfeitos para familias com filhos. A limpeza do hotel é falha em todas as partes, tanto em áreas sociais quanto nos quartos. Por causa das chuvas, estava um infestação impressionante de pernilongos, parece que não fazem nenhuma prevenção porque nem dedetização e nem sequer spray eles usam, estava terrível. A comida no restaurante é media, buffet fraco. A equipe é muito gentil e se esforça com simpatia para atender, mas nota-se que falta liderança e processo para que eles possam realizar um bom trabalho. Não vi em 8 dias algum gerente ou coordenador tentando ajudar a resolver os desafios e problemas do hotel. Outro pronto seria o dato deles se considerarem Eco Resort, não vi nenhuma ação que seja ecologica ou de sustentabilidade. Ao contrário, estao usando luvas de plastico nos buffets, toalhas embaladas individualmente também em plastico, garrafas de agua de plastico, etc, dizem que é pelo COVID, mas Sabe-se que tem outras formas eco disso acontecer, me impressiona um lugar chamado Eco Resort jogar milhares de luvas e embalagens plasticas no lixo a cada mês.

O hotel é fantástico! Consegue ser luxuoso, autêntico, sem perder o calor, o astral e o conforto... Um lugar para se desconectar do mundo e se deixa levar pelos encantos da Bahia... Um lugar de gente que gosta de receber, funcionários excepcionais, super receptivos!!! Fomos embora com vontade de ficar...
