Great hotel in a great location. Its position at the end of the town is perfect if you don’t have a car. It’s a great gem behind the entrance gate. Wonderful accommodations, incredible food, and an amazingly friendly team to help with any assistance needed. Loved it here!

Highly recommended this property in San Pedro Atacama! The property is well situated in the center of the town right on the main “Blvd” Making for easy access for the tour companies to pick you up ! The service is outstanding and the rooms , there are 12 , are designed in the style of yurts! The rooms are super spacious , The pool is not heated but it warms up enough during the day ( at least this time of the year) to make the temperature acceptable! Special shout out to Mr. Freddy at the restaurant for throwing amazing service he provided during our stay . He was a true hustler !

We came to the hotel for a quick lunch while we we were waiting for a transfer onto Calama for a flight but wish we could have stayed. Sylvia at reception was extremely welcoming and kindly took our bags to look after and showed us to the restaurant overlooking the beautiful pool area which was really relaxing. The transfer arrived slightly early so they wrapped the food up for us to take and we enjoyed at the airport. Highly recommend the pulled pork wrap! Everything was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed and it made you want to pull out a book and just relax. I would definitely stay a few days after a trip to the salt flats next time!

The pictures do not do this hotel justice. The location, hotel itself and the staff are truly “one of a kind”. The service is very attentive, wherever you are on the property. And everyone greets you with a smile. The 12 rooms here are all yurts. When we were taken to ours, and the door opened…it was a “wow” moment. Having never stayed in a yurt before, we were surprised how roomy they are, and there was a small electric fireplace for those chilly high desert evenings. The bathrooms were roomy too…with a walk-in shower, plush towels and really comfy white bathrobes and slippers…a nice extra touch! The included full service breakfast was delicious, and included foods that would appeal to most all people. We had lunch and dinner at least once during our stay and were happy with choices, prices and quality of the food. We spent a bit of time at the pool, and it looks exactly as the pictures show. Hotel Desertica has created a nice oasis in the middle of town. It is quiet, secure, and a comfortable place to return after a long days excursion.

Hotel Desertica is so, so good, we didn’t want to leave. And in fact we spent the next two nights at Hotel Cumbres and wished we were still at Desertica! Excellent service and food. Loved the rooms. Probably most surprisingly good we’re the grounds- the planting, trees and little seating areas between the villas, which were shaded and lovely on a hot afternoon/evening. And let’s not forget the pool area- really nice. 10/10

Beautiful hotel which I find hard to fault! Beautiful rooms, lovely surroundings and all within walking distance of town, along with off road parking. Breakfast was delicious and we decided to have dinner on our first night and this was of equal quality. Special mention to Gary for all of his help during our stay. The humidifier in our room was much appreciated to help acclimatise to the dry climate.

This hotel is the best! Definitely recommend this stunning oasis in the otherwise dusty and scruffy San Pedro de Atacama. The town is fun, but it's wonderful to have this island of luxury to escape back to. The food was amazing, the staff so friendly and helpful and everything in the hotel is beautiful. Couldn't recommend highly enough!!

We had a wonderful experience at Desertica Hotel! Every staff member we encountered, from the manager to the check- in, to the beautiful restaurant, to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to everyone coming to the amazing Desierto de Atacama 😍
