We had a wonderful stay! Awesome staff, 24-7 bar service. Clean rooms and beautiful views. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends/family. Thank you, El Colonial!

We really enjoyed our stay. Superb staff. Great location. Complimentary lobby bar for guests open 24/7. Nice rooftop area. Some umbrellas on the roof would be nice. We'll definitely stay there again.

The staff were more than helpful, from the second we walked in Lewis immediately greeted us with drinks (free open bar) and gave us great tips on how to start our vacation. Also the communication between staff was top notch! I will most definitely be staying here again when I visit back.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The open bar was very convenient. Our room with a Juliette balcony was small but very clean. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. .Street noise can be loud. No toilet paper down the toilet...a little inconvenient!

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Old San Juan, walking distance to all historic sights. There is a variety of restaurants and shops nearby along with access to Taxi and Uber on the main circle (Colombus Circle) one minute walking away. The staff is very helpful and pleasant, check in and check out was very simple. The bar in the lobby is AMAZING! very convenient to have access to hot and cold drinks at any time without having to worry about hauling drinks/water bottles to the room. The rooftop terrace is lovely with breathtaking views of the city. We truly enjoyed our stay and will consider staying at El Colonial if back in SJ.

We loved pretty much everything about El Colonial, from the warm welcome to the awesome rooftop to our rooms. The beds were very comfy and it was so well located, close to everything. Parking is a short 2 blocks away in a secure garage. The lobby bar is a major plus. We will stay there again.
