I cancelled my reservation and it was done by 1pm and they kept me booked in and took my money 🤑.

Everything was acceptable even though the property is older it is still maintained and kept clean. My only criticism is that the pillows are half size & the reception area said there were no more available. The breakfast was also lackluster as the only choices were cereal and mini waffles. An option with protein such as eggs or even pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches would have been appreciated.

Location is at the Mexican border. Large trucks parked all around.
Hot tub was not working initially and was not clean.
Room phone was nasty.

Check in went well. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Got to my room and it was kinda gross. Not sure if it’s the humidity but the walls looked like someone was cooking with alot of grease. There was brown sticky spots everywhere. The dresser tops were sticky.
Bed felt clean and comfortable.
The location was a nightmare to try to leave from about 5pm. Major traffic jams at the intersection to get to the freeway. Took about 35 minutes to get to the freeway from the hotel being 1/4 mile away. Ended up being late to the airport to pick up my wife.
We left into Mexico the next morning at about 5 am and had no issues.
All in all, it was a convenient location to stay before crossing the border. Not the nicest place I’ve stayed in but definitely not the worst
