First off, this is a beautiful hotel in the heart of old town. Do not stay here if you are traveling with anyone who can’t do stairs, or hills or is handicapped. The hotel is HUGE. And spread out. It was extremely difficult to find our room and parking was a disaster. Rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL.

Always saw this hotel on previous trips to San Diego but never stayed here before. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in Old Town so you are surrounded with some of the best Mexican food in San Diego. Park the car ($17 night) and feast away. Onsite restaurant is The Tequila Factory. Good food and margaritas (the hotel gives you a voucher for a free drink worth about $9-10). Old Town Mexican Cafe (100 meters away) has the most amazing fish tacos on handmade tortillas (you can watch the tortilla production in the front window). The hotel is old (maybe a little dated in the room decor) but clean and well kept and it is a beautiful property with lots of courtyards and outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and helpful. Old Town is easily accessible to both I5, I8 and hwy 163, close to the airport and around 10 miles to the beach (very easy to get there).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with a separate area that had a second tv and sofa bed couch with mini kitchen. The grounds were beautiful and it was right in the middle of old town. Would definitely stay there again!

Check in was absolutely fantastic. The desk person was very welcoming and pleasant, as well as very informative.
She made sure that I understood her information and made the check in process as seem less as it could be.
The hotel is directly across the street from Olde Town and very easy to access. Parking did cost 20 dollars, but parking garage parking was about 50 yards from our room!
I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location. Fair price, clean inside and out. Comfortable rooms. Stayed for a night. Water pressure for shower wasn’t great but that’s ok lol would recommend. Def coming back

Checking in was easy and fast. The gentleman that helped me was courteous and prompt to get me checked in. He was friendly as well. Love this place❤🥰. Came for our sons birthday and he loves this place was well. Definitely returning.

The hotel put me next to a service room where employees were working from the room around 6:30 AM talking loud, laughing, slamming doors, and congregating outside of my immediate room.
I went to the front desk and asked for a refund due to the fact that I couldn’t sleep. They offered me a half off discount, but in my opinion this night was a complete waste and put a rough end to my trip. Hotels have 1 purpose: to proved a comfortable stay for their guests. They failed at this job by excusing the behavior and not taking care of the bill.
