The rooms are very nice great location. The only thing I would say is that the plumbing is a little loud.

O atendimento foi muito atencioso na recepção. O café da manhã oferece boas opções de pratos quentes, mas poderia ter um suco de laranja natural e mais opções de pães doces. A internet é boa e o serviço de valet é caro (U$82 por 2 diárias) mas foi ok. A sala de ginástica/fitness center deixa muito a desejar - os equipamentos são antigos e não funcionam adequadamente.

Staff is really friendly and accommodating. Rooms could use a more thorough cleaning but overall it was ok. Breakfast bar was spectacular!

Old mattresses, front desk lady told me that the issue in the room was fixed…lie! Faucet water was just stuck there. It was gross!

Good location for Lyft user. Housekeepers may miss cleaning your room and forget cleaning some areas and replenishing daily necessities from time to time. Housekeepers do not speak English and hard to communicate with sometimes. Best breakfast you can get in a hotel. Front desk people are very nice!

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is so unique and pretty. I love the history that’s tied to it.
They have a great breakfast that was inclusive and hot the spot every time before we got our day started. Valet parking was the best option and they did great having our car ready. Lots of places to walk around the area too including the Alamo. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are great if you’re into older but with some modern touches. What I didn’t like if you have to check out a day or two early they will not refund your money so they are in all reality stealing from their guests both with their rooms and parking

We recently stayed two nights at Hotel Gibbs and had a mixed experience. While the staff were very friendly and the room was clean, I had a difficult time sleeping due to the extra firm mattress. Additionally, the hotel had a persistent smell of fried bacon, which was quite off-putting. Overall, there were some positives, but the comfort level and smell significantly impacted my stay.
