รีวิว Medina Hotel Samarkand

After a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly.

Was a nice experience staying at the Medina hotel. It was conveniently located a few km from many famous sites and good restaurants, nice pool, and well maintained. Rooms were simple, but clean.

去了幾十個國家了，頭一回遇到這麼垃圾的酒店。房間不僅很小而且進去就能聞到陣陣惡臭，廁所更是令人作嘔，剛入住想去洗手間洗個手結果臭得差點吐出來。酒店餐廳工作人員態度極差，主動服務意識基本是沒有的，英語水平幾乎為零也不願意想辦法與客人溝通，點了一個抓飯結果送上來如圖所示的一小碟白飯，也不知道是想幹什麼。餐廳裏蒼蠅飛來飛去，入住當天晚上就吃壞肚子了。晚上酒店周邊全是狗叫，停都停不下來，嚴重影響休息。早上六點多就開始挨個房間敲門，你們是生怕客人休息得太好了嗎？也就前台接待勉強還能讓人滿意，無論是英語水平還是服務態度。

很好的選擇，衹是酒店不提醒我早2小時入住還要付40美元啊！****不會説一句，等會兒吧，現在要多一倍價格。拿進去錢就不説話了。無語😓，早飯真的很棒，有好的我還要説的。

Чистый отель, хороший персонал. Вкусные завтраки, но очень много мучного, хотелось бы больше белкового, но выбрать есть из чего. Ванная протекала после душа весь пол в воде, из-за этого в ванной стоял неприятный запах сырой воды. Номера чистые, хорошее, мягкое постельное белье

Ужасный отель с хорошим расположением. Звукоизоляция отсутствует, у бассейна люди шумят всю ночь. Просили ланч бокс вместо завтрака, ничего не подготовили. Администраторы ни чем не помогают, тупые.

Отель отличный, в доступности рядом все достопримеательности, шикарный завтрак !!! Хозяин супер 🙌

預訂這家酒店一定要謹慎！首先，他不值那麼多錢（我是六百多一天訂的），其次，這個酒店的大床是由兩張單人床拼出來的，中間有縫隙的那種。最重要的來了，提醒一下預訂這家酒店的小夥伴，在辦理入住的時候，一定要跟前台確定房費的付款問題。我在攜程預訂這家酒店，房費通過攜程已經付款，訂單顯示到酒店後還需付款一筆税費（一百多人民幣）。入住還算順利，退房的時候，前台是一個小姐姐，由於語言溝通不順暢（我英語不太好，她英語也不太好），我不知道她在説什麼，後來讓我付款，我以為是付款税費，然後收到付款訊息才發現是165美元，我當時懵了，問過之後才知道是房費。我告訴她，我的房費已經在預訂的時候付款過了，然後她查看訂單，確定我是已經付款過之後説給我退款，但是，一通操作之後，不但沒有退款，我手機又收到了一筆165美元的消費通知！懵了，徹底懵了。一共是兩筆165美元的消費！哎……當時着急趕火車，我聯繫了攜程客服説明情況之後就先走了，客服説會幫我聯繫酒店解決這個問題。後來通過攜程客服得知，攜程跟這家酒店不是直接掛鈎的，是通過第三方預訂平台上線的，所以聯繫這家酒店要通過第三方平台，流程非常麻煩。哎……事情已經過去一個多月了，攜程一直在跟酒店溝通，但這個問題依然沒有解決，酒店總是各種理由説正在核查，我的兩筆165美元依然沒有退回。這個酒店的前台工作人員，太業餘了。預訂這家酒店，一定要謹慎！

非常差，看了點評都説不錯，實際上，房間好像就沒怎麼打掃，枕頭上還有好幾根頭髮。進去床品居然還是亂的！！！別的酒店早餐都是7點，這家是8點到10點，趕火車也來不及用早餐！

Centrally located hotel, clean comfortable room, well appointed bathroom. The staff appears a little raw, but receptionist could speak reasonably good English and so did the restaurant staff. Avoid the attached restaurant. Breakfast buffet on the terrace was vast

The hotel is centrally located in Samarkand, walking distance from all sights. The staff was very welcoming and kind. They helped us with everything, directions, calling taxi, printing the boarding pass. Their kind, professional attitude was much appreciated. The hotel itself is modern, has a fancy design, well-equiped and clean. The rooms are large and comfortable, well heated. The breakfast offers high variety, sweet dishes like pancakes, cakes, salty dishes, including caviar and local specialities, both warm and cold. It was a nice stay, the hotel is clearly recommended. Thank you for contributing to our nice stay in Samarkand!

The beds were rock hard and the Wifi was unusable at times. The walls were paper thin so if you're unfortunate to be next someone watching TV or with kids, you'll be able to hear everything. Gym was listed as an amenity however it had only a small treadmill and a small bike that if you're any taller than 5' 6" it would be unusable. The room is spacious enough to do stretches. Location was great for accessing most of Samarkand by foot and the breakfast buffet was incredible. Lots of variety. Two stand out staff members were Jimal and Rustam in maintaining the spread and explaining what each food was.

The toilet has a glass door which you can see through - very poor. And the breakfast is not good at all.
