I stayed at the hotel for two days now, and will be here for almost another week. I feel confident that I am within good hands here at the AC. Checkin was smooth and I was assisted to my room by valet employee Preston. Also thx Brian and David who are other employees. Cane and barrel was fantastic even though there was a wedding going on. I will plan to return to this hotel in the future.
Had to fly in to the area to help our daughter and her family after the recent hurricanes. We only needed a hotel for one night but boy did we need one! Checked in around 8:00 p.m. and from when we stopped at the valet stand to when we finally checked out, the staff was awesome. Just polite, professional and personable. The room was great also. With my Titanium status, we were offered a room upgrade which we took. The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice bathroom for much needed showers after working at our daughter’s house all day after being flooded. The hotel had just had the power turned on the day before so there were fans located throughout but this was completely understandable and expected. If I had to find a negative it would be mandatory valet parking. Believe this is due to limited parking in the area and only a negative because we forgot a couple of things in our vehicle. One of the nicest Courtyard stays I’ve had and definitely the best staff
Mint house is clean, convenient, and cozy! Our unit was like a mini apartment complete with washer and dryer. Perfect for when my facewash exploded all over my clothes. It saved me a headache. It is a bit pricey for my wallet but I splurged for a weekend when my friend was getting married. Super easy to use the city scooters to get anywhere downtown st pete. We rode the scooters to the Dali museum one day.
Not much to say. It's a Hilton. Very clean place. Close to the airport (20 mins by car over the causeway). You can fill up your vehicle with gas at the Shell Gas stations ( 3 mins away) Starbucks is right beside it. No need to fill up in Tampa when returning as the shell is only 10 miles away so you barely burn any gas. Overall this hotel was nice. Had a nice pool. A scary boardwalk :) Warning signs for alligators and wild animals. I never saw any and went on it. I did see a turtle. Restaurant in the place is nice but expensive. Better to go to Cracker Barrel 5 mins away or Courtside Grille which is right beside a publix for water and things you may need for pharmacy. Everything is close. Downtown St Petersburg is 20 mins by car. Easy drive in. Good location. I would stay there again.
Mmmarro2001We were booked at an event on Saturday morning at The University of South Florida and were delighted to see the proximity of the college in relation to the hotel. We actually walked there. Additionally, Julian was a total peach working the front desk. I talked with him daily and he gave me the 411 on what was happening locally. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Everything was amazing! Loved it!!! Awesome community!
MMilagros ABeds are clean and comfortable. Rooms are nice and cozy. The floors are nice and clean and as for the bathrooms clean and spotless. Only suggestions is maybe more breakfast choices and maybe some free lunch and dinner snacks that would be amazing for some of us
RRGaitherHIOverall this is a pleasant building. But neither the room nor the “restaurant” were what I consider Holiday Inn standards. The room was tiny with a trundle bed that wasn’t in the least bit comfortable as a sofa. The mattress was way too soft. The “air conditioner” was a noise machine that didn’t seem to change the temperature or sound no matter which temperature we set the thermostat for. The “desk” was a table slipped under a shelf. It had to be pulled out towards the bed, blocking passage, to let a laptop be opened. We did a lot of getting up to let each other by. (Rm 411). We asked for the AC to be fixed but it wasn’t. The Breakfast was limited. Oh, and you can get two pancakes, but not just one? At least coffee (just one pot, no decaf or hot water for tea) was at no extra charge. But - the building was clean, the staff, including housekeeping, was as pleasant as they could be, and the parking was free. Nice fitness room and outdoor pool.
HHeathBrianGood experience for a two night stay in a very convenient location. Decent room that appeared clean and had good amenities. Good check-in experience and good customer service from the manager on duty that evening. I asked for additional hangers as we had excess clothing to hang up and she brought shampoo to the room as our room did not have any. In all, it was good value for the type of hotel it is. Only negative: their ”breakfast” was coffee and juice (!).
