The property itself is pretty average, but not bad for the price. The older gentleman manning the reception area was very friendly and the lady preparing the breakfast buffet was really nice and accommodating.

Room was clean, this is an old hotel but appeared unkept. Breakfast was awful the eggs, sausage, potatoes and gravy were so cold it didn’t seem safe to eat.

The property stank like curry and fried onions. The room stank of some awful perfume chemical smell. And the bed sagged so terribly we couldn’t sleep. Just a nasty place will never be back.

Nice quiet property and the breakfast was really great. The rooms are a little run down, and we had a random Cheeto left on the floor as well as a used soap bar left in a cup on the bathroom counter, but otherwise the beds were clean and staff was very nice.

The property was very nice and the staff and breakfast were great. We did have a leak in the room that got on our luggage, but the staff gave us keys within second to another room that was good and cleaned

Staying over the weekend at the Ruidoso Mountain Inn was a great experience to relax and have a place to gather while we enjoyed our vacation around the town. The staff was kind and informed us of the services available at the hotel along with the wonderful breakfast made every morning. While our shower was a bit tricky to navigate at first, we were able to understand the nozzle functions and proceeded with no difficulties. The one feature that I wish could be provided is more thicker blankets available for the bed as our night was somewhat chilly. Overall, the stay was wonderful for the price offered and I would definitely recommend the Mountain Inn for those seeking a wonderful budget option in Ruidoso.

Great staff and hosting. George was very nice and helpful up front. Only complaint I have was the showers in multiple rooms need to be worked on. Wall paper was falling off and the drains in multiple rooms were too slow to drain. Would fill up the tub while taking a shower. Pool looked closed, was wanting to use the hot tub sense we where skiing for the weekend but it’s outside and was not sure if open/working.

The hotel is very nicely maintained and comes with Jacuzzi/pool and breakfast buffet. The only issue I noticed was a nasty smell in the bathroom and black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.
