โรงแรมใกล้ Ingresso di Villa Pamphiliในโรม

We are family of four and have to be splitted into to two rooms which were fine as its on same floor. Rooms are fine with toiletries but no water or kettle. I could live with that but Staff are worst. One of rooms has issues with Aircon and with summer temperature not ideal. Called Reception, lady staff is friendly but the man on night shift is arrogant, he said we have to wait, been 30 mins no action, our booking is via Coach Tour so when I contacted my Tour Leader they changed our room. When I went to down to lobby to ask for kettle or hot water he said to ask Kitchen staff, and an Italian words sighing feeling me like stupid after, not, very arrogant indeed. Next day, I asked my daughter to ask for hot water again to Kitchen Staff, my daughter went back to our room feeling embarrassed as the guy initially refused as they said its only for coffee. The management should review their staff attitude, I know some hate tourists but for pete’s sake majority of guest are tourists.

Excellent location, 300m from the Spanish steps, 50m from all the evening restaurants & bars and 100m from the designer shops. Everything including the automated entry was easy, host was on hand on phone if any issues. Place was clean and well maintained & everything worked. Was the best value for money/location combination we could find on line and was happily impressed when we arrived. Would happily stay there again.

Hotel was in a great location. walking distance to the main railway station and to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. Good nearby bus links to the colosseum and the circus Maximus, and only a ten minute walk to the nearest underground. The hotel did a buffet breakfast which was very convenient, and had a mini bar in the room which we didn’t use, but the prices seemed reasonable for a hotel in Rome. Good restaurants nearby also.

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

Liked the location of the hotel in EUR Rome. The rooms are nice and clean, good TV channels including BBC and CNN. The experience was ruined by the 1 hour + noise from the trucks loading and unloading skips in the next door Euromax shopping centre. The banging noise is horrendous. Sara did offer to replace my room but as i had 1 more night i didn't bother. The breakfast area is very busy and chaotic, takes a long time to get coffee from the Barista's. The breakfast items are okay but nothing substantial, they are very supermarket affair. The corridors are boring and dull and definitely 3 stars. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Euromax shopping centre next door is an excellent diversion on a rainy day.
