Black & White G&G

This is the worst place I've stayed at in all of Italy and the worst value and I've stayed at over a hundred places in Italy. I think it's a converted toilet. Although doubles are a normal size, the single room was appalling and doesn't even qualify as a -proper rental room .The bed was hard, uncomfortable and so small I was falling off it. There is no storage and no room to put anything. I couldn't open the bathroom door without moving my suitcase and the cupboard had 3 hangers. When I first arrived it was cold, but the heater just blew cold air;they were nice enough to give me a second blanket. It was suffocatingly claustrophobic and also noisy. There is no soundproofing so you have the pleasure of hearing people urinate in the toilet next door at 1 am and banging around. I even had a drunk guy walk into my room at 1 a.m. Even though I was on the courtyard, there were dogs barking a lot and it's super noisy .You can hear constant traffic and sirens from the main road. It's the worst quality I've ever seen. In addition, this is NOT a bed and breakfast. I chose it because of the breakfast reviews. However, when I arrived, I was informed there was no breakfast and to stay out of the kitchen.The reviews was "from four years ago." They have no right to advertise themselves as a Bed and Breakfast. There was only tea and instant coffee. It's hard to find with no information outside and I didn't particularly like the location which is too hard to access anything from . It's horrible value for the price. I went to Tivoli and got a place ten times the size with breakfast for the same amount. It ruined my time in Rome and put a blight on my entire trip. My back is still killing me from the uncomfortable bed and pillows which were rock hard. The staff were nice and it was clean, but it's still- a perfect zero.

The staff is remarkable! Clean rooms, great location and great amenities. We will definitely stay here again!
