Sonder at Via Croce

We had a very pleasant stay in a really nicely decorated and very spacious apartment. The location is excelent for a holiday visit. Most sites are within easy walking distance and the atmosphere in the area is very pleasant. Would definitely use again and recommend very highly.

No place in Rome can beats Sonder considering how affordable this place is. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything that I needed. As it is an airbnb style stay, there’s no room for you to store your luggage after check-out. Though Sonder offers a promo code for “bounce” the storage service platform, I wish there was a storage services offering from sonder as it is difficult to find a nearby bounce place in the early morning. Also, there once was a noise problem at night but the employee at Sonder kindly resolved the problem immediately. Overall, I loved staying at Sonders and if I come back to Rome, I would definitely consider visiting here again.

We can not think of a better place to stay when you visit Rome. Location, service, clean appartement with everything you need. Really comfortable. When you walk out of your appartement it’s a 3 minute walk to the metro Spanga and the Spanish stairs… after 12:00am it gets nice and quite in the street in front of the building. There is a supermarket 50mtr from the appartement which was also really convienent. Definitely recommend a stay here

Very clean and spacious rooms , located in the heart of Rome, very close to Plazza Spagna and 12 minutes walking distance to Fontana di Trevi. Shops and restaurants just in front of the door. Very good customer service, response in a minute.

The check-in process is horrible, took over an hour to open FOUR doors using their app, there is no one there to greet you so you have to figure it out or call for help. A total mission. They advertise it for 4 people, but it is NOT, the bed is extremely uncomfortable and the other two "beds" are a the actual sofa (not a pull out sofa) and a chair that opens up like a twin size bed, where you are sleeping on a wooden frame and springs. Also, they were not made and instead of enjoying our vacation we had to make the beds. Location is central but very busy with tourist and loud.

We reported that there was no AC at the beginning of our stay at this property. They replied that it was set to “winter mode” and they couldn’t turn the air on even though it was over 80 degrees inside. They could not provide a fix during our entire stay and it was too loud to open windows for fresh air. There is garbage collection below the room starting at 6am and the shower does not drain. We do NOT recommend staying here.

We booked via *********** an apartment for 4 with clearly written “4 adults” comfortable sleeping. Once we got there, we found out the apartment was prepared for 2 people only. Two other sleeping places we had to prepare by ourselves by using uncomfortable sofa for one person and another sofa chair basically used as a room decoration. Sonder refused to provide us extra bed sheets and linen so we had to separate existing and use for 4 of us. Bathroom is in a terrible condition - pipes are clogged and drainage is barely working. Sonder refused to provide compensation of any kind.

Great location. Spacious apt. You can hear your neighbors if you are sleeping in living room. Beware of restaurant across the building. They gave us a special menu and overcharged us compared to the others. Management was very helpful but everything was done remotely. We did not have hot water last day but were compensated for that. These are minor issues compared to the great space and amenities.
