Marino Patruno and his wonderful team certainly know how to run a Grand Hotel. We arrived late in the day having toured around Italy with Viareggio as our final rest stop. Comfortable and accommodating, the staff will take care of all your needs, from sorting out your laundry to organising a comprehensive choice of delicious dishes for dinner. With relaxing gardens and pool, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

Excellent hotel, location and service - Italian luxury at its finest. The room was clean and quiet, the towels, toiletries and linens were great quality. The on-site restaurant, bar and gym made the stay even better. Do not miss the breakfast! Their beach club was also very nice, clean, great service. We ordered lunch, wine and cocktails. We used the bicycles to go around town and everything was close by. Highly recommend and will be back!

Absolutely love this place. The people have to be the friendliest people in all of Italy. We were running around the coast and a bit of Tuscany for a month and yes, the staff were the best in the country. Clean, comfortable and the breakfast setup was second to none. If in the area, highly recommend staying at the Palace Hotel!
