The Lakehouse Cameron Highlands

เป็นอะไรที่ประทับใจไม่รู้ลืม...เช้าวันรุ่งขึ้นก็กลับห้องไปท่อน้ำในห้องน้ำแตกจนเปียกไปทั้งห้องน้ำและห้องนอนบางส่วน....โชคดีที่เราไม่ได้ใส่ กระเป๋าของเราอยู่บนพื้นซึ่งอยู่ข้างประตูห้องน้ำ....ไม่อย่างนั้นเราจะนึกภาพไม่ออกว่ากระเป๋าก็เปียก....รูปถ่ายตอนเช็คอิน....ท่อน้ำแตกเปียก ห้องน้ำทั้งหมดรวมทั้งผ้าม่านด้วย...

พูดตามตรง ที่พักต่ำกว่าความคาดหมายและเราเช็คเอาท์ในวันนั้นเอง หลังจากเช็คอินไม่กี่ชั่วโมงเนื่องจากเหตุผลหลายประการ เราพบว่าโรงแรมไม่น่าพอใจหรือเป็นมิตรกับเด็ก เราเดินทางพร้อมเด็กเล็ก 2 คน และตัวฉันเองก็ท้องได้ 8 เดือนแล้ว ที่น่าตกใจคือทางโรงแรมไม่มีลิฟต์ให้บริการ และทำเลที่ตั้งของโรงแรมค่อนข้างไกลและเปลี่ยวจนเรารู้สึกว่ามันไม่คุ้มกับเงินที่จ่ายไป เราจองห้องสวีทสำหรับครอบครัวสำหรับ 4 ท่านซึ่งมีราคา 1,200 ริงกิตมาเลเซียต่อคืน แต่เมื่อมาถึงก็ไม่มีความช่วยเหลือในการนำกระเป๋าเดินทางของเรา โดยเราต้องพาตัวเองขึ้นไปบนห้อง แพ่งจริงๆ และการบริการลูกค้าแย่มาก ไม่แนะนำหากคุณเดินทางพร้อมเด็ก

The hotel is a bit far from the center of the town, but it's not a problem if you drive a car. The building’s appearance and interior decoration are very distinctive, and the overall atmosphere is very good, clean and warm. The staff are also very friendly and help clean the car every morning, thank you very much. The air in Cameron Highlands is fresh and the nights are cool. I hope I can come back soon.

We enjoy a lot . Very nice place . Next time must go there again .

It’s a great place. Obviously, the hotel isn’t new. But it adds a lot of charm to this place. They have big rooms in the common area for relaxing and afternoon tea. They also washed our car every morning. Our only complaint is about the food. Food may be better.

We held our pre-wedding photoshoot at this hotel. We stayed there for 4 days & 3 nights. Service rendered from the staff was fantastic. Food was good. The location was great. The staff were always on the lookout to be of assistance to the guests. Small gestures such as arranging heart shaped balloons in the room before we checked in, leaving cookies in the room after housekeeping was done, arranging sandwiches for us because we had to leave early in the morning for the photoshoot and the washing of cars every morning were very unexpected. But it showed the high standard of customer service being upheld at this hotel. There were no compromises on customer satisfaction as well. I would definitely come back to this hotel anytime.

Location wise, the hotel is situated at the mouth of Ringlet. It is a good 30min drive to shops and eateries so unless you are prepared to brave 30min (or more on a busy day) on windy roads upwards (and another 30min back to hotel therafter), you may have to think twice. It was becos of this factor, our family of 5 decided to just spend the entire day in the hotel. Food at the restaurant in the hotel was pretty decent. A Malaysian chicken curry rice will set you back RM60, so just to let you in on the prices. The hotel is well kept and the rooms are generally clean. I booked the family room and am impressed by its size, cleanliness. Sheets are clean and room is well-made. Like the simple touches added by the hotel, eg, towels are lightly rose scented, essential oil candle lamps in the rooms. Mattress was really comfortable and the husband enjoyed a good night's rest. Our room came with breakfast the next morning. Breakfast is semi-buffet- pick a main from menu, whilst cheeses, muffins and variety of staples are free flow. A glass of freshly squeezed orange juice is complimentary - that was the best perk me up for me. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel washed the guests' cars. Our car was refreshed and ready for the roads again after a night at the Lakehouse. Though the hotel wasn't my first choice initially but I might just wanna return again. Thank you Lakehouse for making a day's stay a memorable and comfortable one.
