The Ixian Grand & All Suites

I can’t rave about this place enough. Perfect destination if you’re looking for a romantic couples holiday. The staff provided 5 start service throughout our stay and were super helpful. The hotel itself was gorgeous. We paid a little extra for a spa bath and beach view which I would 100% recommend doing. There was a good variety of food - especially good for picky eaters like myself. The drinks were good and the beach/pool cannot be beaten. I saw many people complain about there not being anything within walking distance of the hotel. However it is only a 20 minute taxi journey to the old town costing around 13 euro and is absolutely worth the trip out. I must say this hotel is probably the nicest i’ve ever been to and absolutely worth every penny

From the moment we arrived we were treated well and wowed by the spectacular foyer and welcoming reception area. The check in was smooth and we were very kindly assisted to our room by a very pleasant concierge who graciously declined our offer of a tip, saying that it wasn't needed. We arrived late at night, after the restaurants had closed but they provided sandwiches and drinks to satiate us overnight. The staff were very pleasant and always greeted us with a smile. The all inclusive buffet was extensive and varied, so you could try something different from the available selection each day. (NB: I think if you were staying longer than a week you might find the overall selection repeats and you could feel a little limited). The cocktail were good and plentiful as was the ever smiling service. Our booking in the a-la-carte restaurant was a very pleasant evening indeed. The food was very tasty good quality and elegantly presented. My wife enjoyed the full 'Fabulous' facial and the spa staff were extremely pleasant. Shout out to Evi and Ausra for the exceptional warmth and friendship they have shown to us too. The local buses were easy to navigate to nearby towns or places of interest and there were taxis available for those more specific places. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you would like to kick back and enjoy quality nightly poolside entertainment, a great ambience, beautiful scenery and a great eating and drinking experience.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, the food was fantastic & plenty of choice. The staff were absolutely amazing so friendly, welcoming & attentive, this made our holiday, Eleytheria was a truly fantastic waitress, Petor & Manelos were amazing at the bar😊 Highly recommend the Aegeo Spa I had such a wonderfully relaxing time here, Eva was fantastic😍

The hotel facilities are excellent, rooms are spacious and modern with fantastic bathroom that has a walk-in shower. The hotel has its own privete beach that is literally right outside which was beautiful. The all inclusive food is very tasty with the buffet style menu changing every day so you don't get bored. Staff are very friendly and attentive, really make you feel like a VIP guest. All inclusive drinks are fine, had to ask for LESS alcohol because they were far too strong and the premixed cocktails were almost undrinkable because of this. My only severe issue with this hotel is the noise because oh boy there is A LOT of noise. The entire time here I barely slept because of it. Guests have no respect for others at night time, shouting and slamming doors. People going to breakfast at 7am are terribly loud and often woke us up too, considering breakfast goes on until 10ish, it's extremely rude and inconsiderate. There are also bird nests all over the hotel, one of which was right outside of our room, that houses baby birds. It would be cute if they weren't so unbelievablely loud in the mornings and wake you up at sunrise whether you're hungover or not and continue squealing into the night. I don't know if this is a common occurrence in Rhodes, but the noise was unbearable and even went through my earplugs. All in all, I would recommend this hotel if noise doesn't bother you.

We have just had a treatment of 2 x facials at the Aegean spa by Valentina and Aggeles. What a lovely relaxing experience, and great service. highly recommend this treatment especially as my skin feels really glowy! Really good value for money also and great products used

The good: Super King bed, well kept room, mini fridge stocked(8 tins of mixed drinks refill costs money), mini coffee tea machine, Aircon, multiple good pools, gym, spa, very friendly staff, right beside the beach, taxi rank just outside the building, 2 mins walk from the spar where you can buy bus tickets to Rhodes town which is 15 mins away, plenty of buses. Every dinner night had a theme as in Italian, Greek, Japanese but the food was always just ok as they are cooking on mass, never went hungry. They had great sections of breakfasts and deserts. The bad: the pool bar and the snack bar, this is an "all inclusive", let me just say I'm not one for drinking many pints but you would be hard pushed to get a proper beer here, the cups where maybe 250ml/300ml in size with cup sizes going down to 100ml/ 150ml(paper cups) when they run out of clean cups, this would happen later in the evening. Most the times I asked for a beer you would get 50% foam head and this is not exaggerating the size of the head. My whole time there I'm guessing I had 6 full pints of beer total as I'm not queuing for 2 mins every time I want a mini drink, I actually went to the spar and put beer in the room fridge to chill and take it to the sun loungers rather than queuing up and waiting for the one bar man as you would never be done with the suggestion of beers they pour you. The food was dried out at the snack bar, ice-cream was good and if your into cocktails that's great as they always had bottles pre mixed but I just wanted a pint and to chill, if your a diabetic the only diet drink the had was diet pepsi, water or coffee. Also not much seating after your evening meal and your not central so if you don't get seating after your evening meal you wont be enjoy a late evening drink unless you get a taxi into town. We where with another couple and when queuing for drinks I could only get two at a time at the evening bar. They are only falling down on a few small things but still I think we where robbed for the price we paid this did not feel all inclusive. Iv been to much better 4 star hotels.

We had a suite with pool which was worth the upgrade, better food and restaurants, as well as having a quiet spot by your own pool. Food quality in the separate restaurants (away from the moan restaurant) was superb. The rest of the complex is okay, as others have said - probably a three star. Pools are freezing cold, spa staff come round every day to try and sell spa treatments and there is a significant shortage of seating in the evening in the main bar area. The team work hard here and do an excellent job, with a few more improvements this hotel could be pretty good. If I had booked a standard room with only access to the main restaurant, I would have been very disappointed overall.

The food is delicious. The drinks are decent size with great selection of drink's and the aegeo spa was amazing the lovely women called Panagiota had the softest hands and was so kind. I Highly recommend

Great hotel, lovely views and the staff really went above and beyond. The food was great. I would recommend the Aegeo spa it was very relaxing and the therapists were amazing. Enjoyed a face massage courtesy of Aggelos and again can only strongly recommend.
