We booked this hotel because our friends recommended it. Apparently, as they said the quality has plummeted down in comparison to their previous stays. Rooms are good size and very clean, beds comfy, the pillows, however, are old and lumpy, it’s time to replace them. I couldn’t get shower water temperature right, it was going from hot to cold without me changing the setting. A disappointing experience with the hotel air-conditioning system. We stayed on the days when the outside temperature was ranging +28+32C but the hotel already switched the system to winter mode and our room felt boiling and stuffy. We were kindly offered an upgrade and the new room was on a different side and slightly cooler but I heard other guests complaining to the hotel stuff about the same problem. I would like to thank the gentleman at the front desk, who moved us from 640 to room 345 on 18th August, I’m sorry I didn’t ask his name but I want to make the hotel management aware about his professionalism and patience that he demonstrated while dealing with our complaint. Breakfast was decent and tasty. Bar team is friendly, I had great hospitality experience, Merci to the Iranian bar manager Isa (sorry I am not sure how to spell the name). The hotel is walking distance from The Museum which I recommend to visit and the Old Town.

The Nassauer Hof has always been my favorite hotel in Wiesbaden. I have stayed there many times over the past 14 years; however, I have not been to Wiesbaden since the pandemic. When I got to the hotel, they had no record of me being a prior guest. They told me that their system was updated and that all older customers had been dropped off if there had been no stay in 2-3 years. When I would come in previously, I would always be greeted by name and receive an automatic room upgrade; this time, it showed as a first visit. My room was warm when I arrived. I put the air conditioning up, and I thought it cooled down. But it was still warm. I was at the property for three nights. Finally, on the third night, I couldn't take it anymore and called down to the front desk. A housekeeping staff member came in and could tell it wasn't working; she reported to Frau Lopez, who came and said to me that It was not working and that they could transfer my room.I was still trying to figure out how they could do that, as the hotel could not give me the extra third night at the front desk, and I had to book the third night on the hotel's website (not a partner website). I was very hesitant, but she and Jannis Bamberg made it seamless. Jannis brought my bags packed to the storage area so that I could take only one bag to the checkout in the morning. The room was not comparable to the one I was in, but it was cooler. There was a smell of old smoke. My real question is why a housekeeping staff member did not notice this and report it to the front desk. Instead, I noticed they turned the thermostat to max. Frau Lopez said that would never work as it can only reach a specific temperature. Perhaps, some training needs to be done. On a positive note, the spa at Nassauer Hof was as delightful as always, maintaining its high standards and providing a relaxing experience. One issue that needs attention is the bees, which seemed to be out of control during my stay. They were particularly aggressive around the outdoor areas and even found their way inside the breakfast area. I suggested placing small fans on the tables to deter them, and I hope this advice will be considered. The entire experience could have been better, and it's time to update the bed linens; they have been the same for at least 14 years.

The staying experience was okay, but landscaping horrible and ”curb appeal” dropped off in last six years. One of the only shows in town. I can not complain too much, but not luxury at all. The breakfast is still good and I would book it as part of your stay. Be ready to wait a long time for taxi, but that is really not their fault. Ultimately not a bad stay and cost is reasonable. The outside look is not good especially landscaping and demise of the former theater next door. Can't figure out what project is staging on the property, but looks horrible. Again, do not hesitate to stay, but be open minded.
Stayed for 9 days & received amazing help & service from the owners & all of the staff. Helpful advice, comfortable room and beautiful meals in the restaurant with great local wine. The lamb rack was the nicest lamb I have ever had. Highly recommend.
ผผู้เข้าพักRecently stayed at this lovely small hotel which is very nicely located centrally in Rudesheim but far enough away from train noise or busy streets, although there is a bar opposite we were unaffected by any noise being located in a Comfort Junior Suite in the eaves of the hotel. Our suite consisted of a small sitting area and bathroom on the entry level and two bedrooms up a spiral stairway, this would be my main issue that you had to negotiate this stairs in the night if you needed the bathroom, plus the dressing table and storage area for the outer bedroom was also downstairs. There was a little dressing table and some shelves in the inner bedroom but storage is quite minimal so be prepared to live mostly out of your suitcase. However despite these issues the room had air conditioning, was spotless, beds were comfortable and bathroom well proportioned with lots of storage and a good hairdryer, there was also a good sized fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was served in the beautiful little restaurant which was unfortunately closed this year, there was also a nice little courtyard area where you could eat, we had a lovely lady waiting on us each morning and her helpfulness and friendly nature made up for the frosty unwelcoming woman who checked us in upon arrival. English speaking guests should be aware that it can be difficult to be understood, many staff have little English and learning a few basic German phrases would be helpful, this whole area is not really geared up for the English speaking market and is more aimed at native clients, this is reflected in the food also but that was fine we were there to experience something different and enjoyed the fare although asking for decaff coffee proved very difficult in some places its a bit of a rarity apparently! Overall we were very happy with our accommodation and thought it good value for money, maybe keep the frosty lady away from reception to ensure first impressions are true to the real hospitality of this charming hotel.
ผผู้เข้าพัก5 lady friends and I stayed at this quaint establishment for 6 nights. We had 3 rooms, each with its own character & charm. Jessica and her husband {proprietors} were simple the very best. Spoke English better than some Americans. Helped us with any need we asked about, from restaurants, reservations, where to find a self service laundry, bank, on & on. We were able to purchase tickets for many nearby attractions, boat tours, cable car, right at the front desk and have the cost go directly on our bill, so easy. Breakfast was well stocked, staff made sure we were happy, on the spot for coffee refills, need more eggs? Etc. Our departure was early in the am , since we had asked for daily breakfast, sandwiches, apples & bottled waters were made available to us for our ride to the airport. The beds and pillows were perfect, we all slept so well. Happy the morning buffet lasted until 11am, able to sleep late or take our time getting ready for the day! This was my second stay at this hotel , and it won’t be my last! Wunderbar experience each time!!!
We stayed here one night on our cycling trip, and after a rough start (rather grouchy proprietor man at the front desk who didn’t speak any English and seemed sick of cycling guests, although we were only 4 easygoing people), enjoyed our stay. Bike storage was up around the corner through a garage that the proprietor had to open for us. We had a nice big room (though our friends had a tiny single next door to us and a larger single across the street and up several flights of stairs, so they were less thrilled). Our room was over the little walking street but quiet and comfortable. There was plenty of space, a big bed, closets and shelves, a big bathroom, and a good little desk and fast Wifi. The hotel is in a great location in the main old streets of Zell, with one side facing the river and the other the walking street. There is a good, expansive breakfast buffet in the huge dining room downstairs overlooking the river, with friendly and bustling service. Strangely, even though it was still tourist season (early Sept), and it was a Tuesday night, we found almost no restaurants open for dinner and were even turned away at more than one (at 7-7:30pm). But we ended up having an excellent dinner at a friendly Italian restaurant near the hotel.
