Hotel Posta is simply the most beautiful, memorable and magical hotel I’ve stayed in, anywhere in the world. What makes it special? It could be its history, perfect central location, the amazing breakfast, beautiful atmosphere….but actually it’s the staff. From reception (thanks especially to Stefania and Frederika), the breakfast room ladies, the wonderful housekeeping staff, the bar/restaurant staff each - every person in the Hotel Posta team were lovely and helpful. I had the pleasure of staying here for 9 nights, in a single room then a superior double room. All rooms are gorgeous and characterful. This is my second stay at Hotel Posta and I would only stay here in beautiful Reggio Emilia. I cannot wait to return, though it’s a long way from Australia!

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in mid-September. It is seven storeys high with 107 rooms but copes adequately. We arrived in Reggio-Emilia by train and took a taxi from the central station. The walk to the hotel with luggage would be difficult. Taxis have fixed fares even if arriving at the AV Station which is much further out of town. There is open and undercover parking some of which is free. It is situated on the edge of town and to reach the city centre is no more than a 10 minute stroll. Access for guests with mobilty issues is no problem. Reception is a generous space with three distinct public soft seating areas, however the reception acts as a foyer to the meeting rooms and therefore there is traffic through the space. It is however, very comfortable. If - in certain aspects - having an old fashioned feel. The bar and breakfast room are accessed from reception. The restaurant, which we did not use, is at the far end of reception from the regular entry point but does have a street entry for non guests. The breakfast room was pleasant and breakfast was the usual continental fare with some hot options and a fabulous toaster! The bar was OK, but not particularly large. Bar snacks were available and were both good value and a good size. All staff were helpful and most had good English. Our room was on the fourth floor and was generously sized with a small balcony overlooking the park. Housekeeping was proficient and we experienced very little noise from within the hotel. There was some noise from outside the hotel but very little given that one side of the hotel is adjacent to a fairly busy road. We did however have problems understanding and enabling the aircon. It did work, but more by luck than our understanding! The bathroom was four piece with a large walk-in shower. The shower tray was not non-slip and the delivery temperature of the water was hard to control. Everything was clean and toiletries were adequate - nothing exceptional. All-in-all the hotel provided a good location, good value for money and a comfortable stay.

Stanza molto bella e pulita, cucinino in stanza, ottimo per chi fa soggiorni un po' più lunghi. Distaccamento dell Hotel posta, dal quale dista pochi metri. L'hotel offre vari servizi come ad esempio il noleggio gratuito di bici con le quali potersi spostare nel centro storico ( zona a traffico limitato eccetto alcuni mezzi). Zona centrale in cui è possibile trovare vari servizi, supermercato, farmacia, bar, negozi d'abbigliamento, tabacchini e locali.

โรงแรมเน้นธุรกิจแต่เราพักในช่วงวันหยุดและมันเยี่ยมมาก เดินทางมาถึงง่าย ที่จอดรถง่าย เช็คอินเช็คเอ้าท์รวดเร็ว และห้องพักสะอาดและใหญ่ ถึงแม้จะอยู่นอกใจกลางเมืองเก่าแต่เดินเพียง 10 นาที ตัวเลือกที่ดีในการหลีกเลี่ยงโรงแรมที่ราคาสูงกว่าและคุณภาพต่ํากว่ามากในใจกลางเมือง
