Palazzo Avino

This is a first-class hotel in every respect. The facility is both beautiful and well-maintained. And the location is beyond compare. The food--from breakfast to dinner and the snacks in between--was superlative. But what sets this facility apart is the staff. They are well-trained, friendly, helpful, and engaging. This applies to everyone from the ladies who clean the rooms and the busboys to the head waiter and the concierges. I have stayed at Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons and other luxury properties. None comes close to the experience I had at Palazzo Avino.

Another wonderful holiday at the. Palazzo. We have been returning regularly for 20+ years and it never disappoints. The beauty of the setting, the property itself (recently refreshed), the ambience, and the impeccable service from the excellent team are always a delight. We always feel we are returning to enjoy our time with friends, and we hope we will be able to do so in the future.

This hotel is unlike any hotel I have ever stayed at. I have traveled all over the world, and this hotel located in Ravello is unmatched. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a dream! They upgraded our room to celebrate the fact we had just gotten married. The room and hotel was so clean with gorgeous decor and a breathtaking view. The entire staff is extremely professional while at the same time making you feel like you’re home and surrounded by family. The food and beverage is top tier with many options. The amenities were amazing. It is a perfectly located hotel that gets you away from the busy touristy crowds and allows for a more exclusive experience, while still having so much to do and see around you! The beach club was amazing! This hotel is worth every dollar. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the staff for an unforgettable experience.

My family loved everything about this hotel. The staff were all very warm and helpful. The pool staff in particular were quite thoughtful and attentive. I wish I hadn't lost the piece of paper where I wrote down everyones name to honor them properly. The rooms and property are exquisite. This is a very special place. Our only regret is not saying longer.

Palazzo Avino is literally the most beautiful and welcoming places we have ever experienced. Not only is the setting of Ravello magical and the hotel itself absolutely gorgeous, but every member of the staff is thoughtful, courteous and incredibly helpful. Everything about our stay was perfection - including our fabulous dinner at Rossellini's, which is not to be missed! We cannot recommend this hotel more highly!

The Palazzo Avino is beautifully situated high above the neighboring towns in Ravello, which is a picturesque and beautiful location that allows for some privacy away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. Palazzo Avino is just a short walk from the Ravello Plaza which had multitudes of shopping, cafes, and restaurants less than a 10-minute walk away if you wanted to eat outside of the hotel, which we did most nights and had spectacular meals. Our rooms were well situated on the top floor and had gorgeous views of Maiori and Minori and were greeted with a sweet treat (on a nightly basis) two bottles of water, and a bottle of champagne on arrival. We did eat on-site for breakfast every morning and the selection was wonderful and the service was the best we had at the hotel. Upon arrival we were suggested to have dinner at the hotel and that the menu would be in our rooms (which we looked for thoroughly and then went to the website to see if it was there - it was not). We ended up going down to check out both restaurants and their corresponding menus. The Michelin-starred Rossellinis but were not up for a lavish meal and instead opted for the more casual restaurant Terrazza Belvedere which suited our tastes much more. We were unable to make a reservation at the restaurant but had to go back to the concierge to reserve a spot. I will say that our one negative experience was our dinner at Terrazza Belvedere, which we believe was due to a "Investors Dinner" happening at the table near us. We were seated at around 7:30 pm and did not receive our cocktails until around 8 pm, which is when the Investor's dinner attendees arrived. I say investors because, after one quick Google search, I realized it was the owners of the hotel and a few others having dinner at the restaurant next to us. We had one waiter for the whole restaurant who entirely catered the evening to them, which is understandable if no other tables were seated but the restaurant was fully packed with tables, and the beverage assistants were not allowed to take orders and had multiple awkward instances of following up with their higher up to share that other tables would like to order and or close out their checks. After being at two other 4-5 star hotels in other areas of Italy we expected to have similar service here but unfortunately, we felt that the service was very lacking and we passed on dessert due to the lack of service and the table near us becoming very boisterous and loud and not considerate of the other diners. I will say that I did leave this as feedback when asked by the hotel but had not heard any follow-up which is why I would rather let others know that my experience fell short in this circumstance and left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth knowing the Owners were behind the reason for the poor service. I will say the concierge team, pool teams, and the Rossellinis team were all very wonderful and catered to our needs and did a wonderful job.

We loved our stay at Palazzo Avino! The views are gorgeous from the room and each dining place was delicicious! We ate on the terrace overlooking the beautiful view and at Rosselinis which was very good! The martini bar had over 100 martinis so plenty to chose from as well. The service at all the places is top notch and Antonio even got me a replacement white shirt from the laundry room for my wedding when I brought the wrong one!

The perfect stay on the Amalfi coast! We loved this hotel, especially the fact that it's in Ravello and not in the touristy Positano or Amalfi. Location, service, food and cocktails were awesome. Special shout out to the best concierge ever - Antonio! Thank you all for a wonderful stay!
