The beautiful artwork. The friendliness of staff. Front desk guy Elijah was terrific. Pleasant conversation with the owner Sheldon was also great. Taos is great. We’ll be back and we’ll stay at Hotel La Fonda.

Great hotel and friendly service. I initially booked 2 king beds with a request to have adjoining or nearby rooms. Plans changed and I had to get a long and two queens, which staff were happy to do. Upon arrival, guests in the 2 queen room failed to leave in a timely manner so staff gave us 3 king rooms all in a row, with the third room on the house. The hotel is an older place in Taos, which is just the nature of things in this town. It can be a bit noisy due to the age, but the hotel is clean and well taken care of. It is in the main plaza with lots to do and plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. I will make this my place to stay any time I am in Taos.

This is a boutique hotel in the heart of Old Santa Fe. The rooms are small but true to their culture time and full of charm. Everything you want is right here. Restaurants, shops, art and museums.

Cute historic hotel. Location was great - walking distance to historic downtown area. Beds were really hard. Ok for 1 night stay to explore the area.

Our stay at Hotel La Fonda was great! It's in an amazing location, the staff was very friendly and the room had a fireplace which was an added bonus. We will stay here again!

Check in was easy process and quick. We went to Taos as our first time heading back home from our honeymoon. Very nice and relaxing.

This hotel definitely needs some updating. I am not a picky person but our toilet would not flush, bathroom fan did not work, bed was really bad, squeaked and terrible mattress. The hotel is in a great location but was not very comfortable.

Old style Western ambiance located in the oldest part of town. On the old town square. Convenient walking to numerous shops and restaurants.
