The hotel is a bit old, the size of the room is acceptable, however no slippers being provided. Anyway the breakfast is good.

The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and centrally located. The external cafe bar was a lovely way to end a long day’s sightseeing. It would have been perfect if it stayed open later than 7.30. Staff were friendly and helpful in particular, Maria Angelina. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The wine was delicious and typically a high standard one would expect in the Chianti area. All in all a very pleasant introduction to Tuscany and the Chianti route.

We’ve stayed at San Niccolo many times, and we keep returning, so we can recommend it. I do wish there was an option for coffee before 8:00 am.

A lovely small hotel in the centre of town. And what a super town it is. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Very clean and generous breakfast with staff who could not have been more helpful and kind. Highly recommended and thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel doesn’t really have a pool or facilities on site instead you have to walk to another hotel they own and it is use by appoin**ent only

We’ve stayed here several times over the years and have always been happy. Our room was, as ever, comfortable, large, beautiful and clean. We appreciate the extremely helpful staff…a shoutout to Josef who was incredibly helpful by finding a farmacia and scheduling our return Covid test appts. The breakfast is quite good and the Covid policy is practiced.
