Lovely hotel in prime position on the marina. Plenty of outside space, whether you want peace and quiet in the gardens or whether you want music and a beach club experience round the Puro pool or beach, there is something for everyone. Fab breakfast, good food in Peppers and lovely bar staff. Shame that the outside restaurant Oregano was only open lunchtime but there are plenty of lovely restaurants round the marina. Would definitely recommend.

This Hotel is without doubt one of the best we have stayed in anywhere in Europe. From the friendly greeting on arrival to the emotional goodbyes at the end of our stay our experience could not have been more special. We stayed for seven nights accompanied by our Daughter and Son in Law, we both opted for beach view rooms on the 4th floor. The views are spectacular, the beds super comfy and en-suite perfect. The concierges helped me to organise a lovely Birthday surprise as it was my Husband’s Birthday on the day of our arrival. Together we organised balloons, banner, cake and champagne in our room. All the staff go above and beyond at The Tivoli. Breakfast is amazing here, super organised, choice of sitting inside or out with a never ending selection of choices including Cava and even pancakes made to order. The pastries are just fabulous and changed choices daily as well as the favourites. Pool is lovely, huge amount of choice on sun beds and areas with full service from the pool bar. My only very small criticism is that as is human nature amongst some guests they take the towels and put them out then head to breakfast so securing their spot by the pool which is not on and should be discouraged by the management. Simple, unless you put towels on and stay they should be removed and returned to the kiosk by the pool guys. It is unfair for half the best seats to be “reserved” in this way and left empty sometimes for most of the day!!! There are so many beds available and should only be allocated to those actually intending to use them. Drinks around the pool are very expensive but you are paying for the privilege of being served personally and for the lovely surroundings. They also bring round ice creams or sometimes small doughnuts in the afternoon complimentary for guests. Thank you to everyone at the Tivoli for making our stay so special! See you again very soon. Hotel is clean however wouldn’t rate the hotel as a true 5* Hotel. At check in there was a rather long queue to be checked in with the front desk not seeming to be happy in their work. We requested for an iron to be sent to our room 3 days on the trot via calling the front desk from our room. In the end, we never received the iron. Engaging with the front desk via the phone was poor after waiting for over 10 minutes for an answer as well as never recieving a call back when we requested a late check out which couldn’t be accommodated. The TV in our room didn’t work during our stay and a foul smell came from the toilet at least once per day which wasn’t pleasant. Pool staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, the hotel didn’t meet up to expectations.

Excellent location; amazing views, beautiful gardens with sun lounges galore and well spaced. Poolside waiter service good. Bar and restaurant good (they know how to make negroni) tho pricey. Rooms excellent, super bedding, comfort and balcony with great vies of marina at night. Staff attentive and efficient But room service needs attention: wanted fresh milk for in-room tea and phoned to order. They said would be charge, ok. None arrived. Next day attempt and a full teapot of milk arrived. The following morning I realised it was UHT. Visited reception to explain (citing needed same milk as served in restaurant)but again another pot of UHT arrived so gave up. Checking out we were charged for both pots but this was waived on explanation.Small issue but its that type which differentiates the stars!

I booked a golf holiday for 14 people through Your Golf Travel in London for 8 nights at The Tivoli Marina in Vilamoura. I had previously checked out the property but had not stayed at this hotel. This hotel is 5-star in every respect. Location, quality of room, pool area, proximity to beach and golf courses. When travelling with a golf group the marina offers a number of good restaurants on the doorstep. We had a wonderful week at the Tivoli Marina and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay at this premier establishment. The pool area is magnificent with plenty of space. The only slight criticism I have is that the service around d the pool could have been better. I would definitely recommend this hotel whether you are simply visiting Vilamoura or traveling to the Algarve to play golf.

Not great for family / children Door staff are great .Reception slow and miserable. I asked for information about the hotel from the male checking me in ( at 3.45pm ) and very little was given. Waited 20 mins to check out Room 123 had massive stain on bed headboard/ dirty furniture on the balcony . Smelly toilet. Kids play park has been removed / literally nothing for kids in the hole hotel. I could go on .....

The hotel is perfectly located between the marina and the beach. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious with good views. The pool area is great, with plenty of space and good availability of sunbeds. Breakfasts were good, with outdoor or indoor seating, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. We had a good lunch in the Oregano restaurant, and the Argo Bar is lovely for pre-dinner drinks. Looking forward to our next visit!
