Some friends and I decided to take a trip to Dreams Onyx to celebrate our birthday and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly faces and champagne, and shown where to check in. We met our butler for our stay, Javier Valdez, and once again we were blown away. He was friendly and attentive throughout our entire stay. Javier checked on us everyday and provided a daily information flier and itinerary. He even went above and beyond by providing my friend and I with a surprise birthday cupcake and decorations in our rooms.
The resort itself was beautiful and the staff were all so friendly. We all felt at home there which made our stay worthwhile. Eugenia in the ice cream shop was wonderful and Joel in the lobby made the best drinks. We can’t wait to go back again!

Javier was our personal concierge during our stay and we so helpful! We got updated information every morning and he was always available when we needed him for reservations, excursion help and general information. Dreams is a beautiful resort and the staff is so nice, with excellent customer service! Definitely recommend

Everything about this property was okay or good. Nothing stood out as bad really but nothing stood out as excellent either except the vegetables at the buffet. I really felt like the vegetable selection was fresh and plentiful!
I felt most staff were pleasant but not friendly and welcoming unless you were tipping every time. Overall, my family of 6, 2 adults and 4 boys ages 10-17 had a great time being together and hanging on the beach. I’d go back if I wanted to book a last minute vacation only because I know what to expect and nothing was bad but for the price I feel like I should have been more impressed.

Much maintenence needed. Man6 broken beach chairs, A/C unit broken, many broken items, rooms not next to one another as requested (have never had this problem before), food quality poor ( cold food, food poisoning, bad hamburger meat),

Everything was gorgeous and the staff was very kind and helpful and made our trip absolutely unforgettable. Definitely would not have been the same without our wonderful concierge, Javier! He was so accommodating and lovely and was our go-to for everything. We definitely plan to come again.

My stay at Dream Onyx was marked by commendable service and a generally satisfactory experience. The staff exhibited professionalism and friendliness, contributing positively to the overall ambiance. Although the facilities met expectations, there exists an opportunity for improvement to elevate the hotel's status from good to excellent.
