Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana Wave

We had a wonderful vacation at this resort. Miguel taught my son and daughter tennis in a private lesson. He is a fantastic teacher and so fun. He is very personable and great with kids! Ara was our concierge and she was the very best!!! All of the servers we had were amazing: George, Alondra, Ruth, Jeylha, Luis Alberto, Jerry, Jazmin, and many others. We loved having a family section separate from the adults section. The beach was nice and the water was amazing. Not much to see snorkel wise but it is clear, calm, and shallow which was perfect for what we wanted.

Magnificent!! and my group were at this fabulous and fantastic resort and we had the opportunity to meet Johan who gave us a very good service. The food test pretty good and the property is so clean. All the staff is very friendly and attractive to our needs

Very poor food. Limited restaurants available in evenings and ones that were available served poor quality. Steak was very fatty! We were served cold food on many occasions in buffet at lunchtime! This holiday should not be sold to British people as it does not cater for British people! The pool was beautiful and the rooms were very nice.

Jensy was extremely interactive and helpful.. I definitely recommend it for families and even for adults time……………..

We came here for my birthday and it was our first time coming to Punta Cana. This an all inclusive hotel and worth the price. Staff and service were attentive. When you arrive you are given margarita popsicles. This resort had so much to do on property. They had music, theater, different restaurants and bars to go to. We really loved the music at night and that we could eat different cuisines every night. The drinks were great and the food was delicious. We can’t wait to come back again.

Eramy is an absolutely amazing member of the staff — he was very attentive and saw to our every need! Lobster Festival was off the chain with tons of great food and entertainment, including a singer and a violinist. Overall the food choices were very good.

Pros of the resort: 1. very clean everywhere. Room with pool was very nice. 2. not crowded. Not a large resort and with separate adult and family pools. 3. Weekend entertainment was very nice. 4. General staff was friendly. 5. Restaurants were ok. Cons of the resort: 1. Buffet was very disappointing. Food below average and we are not foodies. All food way overcooked. 2. Bar drinks very disappointing. Bar drinks not very strong and bar tenders not very friendly. Limited offerings and so so brands. You must pay more for premium brands. 3. No alcohol in room. You get points based on your room and length of stay but for 3 nights in a deluxe pool room we had enough points for a bag of chocolate. If you want good drinks you should bring your own ...not much of an all inclusive.! 4. Front desk somehow messed up our checkin and on the 2nd day there we needed to get up to our room quickly...only to find out they had locked us out of our room. Absurd. 5. No hot water for showers and bath. lukewarm at best. 6. Beach is horrible. Even to walk to the "nice" part of the beach down away from the resort it was horrible.

Johnny went above and beyond to always make sure we had what we needed and wanted during our stay in the villas and for our excursions!! He was always available with his big, beautiful smile, and made our sweet friend’s birthday so memorable! Excited for the next trip!

This review is for the staff and entertainment on resort - which has been an absolute joy. Everyone has been nothing short of friendly, helpful, and fun contributing to a very pleasant experience. I got to shout out Coca Cola Lite for the bachata dance lessons - made it clear I can’t dance😅 lovely, friendly and very funny trying to make it a good time for everyone! Highly recommend getting your Ricky Martin on here with him and enjoy the time with some of the friendlies staff at any resort!
