Las Villas de Amadores

Amazing views really recommend . No mini bar by the ball but shops at everywhere in amadores so not hard to get snacks and drinks . Pool is kind of small but deep and they have a little jacuzzi . Also there’s a very cute cat that wanders in and out of the villa !!!

Positive stuff-really helpful and polite staff, great views, although 1km down very steep hill to shops and beach . Clean and bright. Apar**ent 446 Negatives- apar**ent's are tired, shower cubicle made of breeze blocks and stained with mould ,poor linen-sometimes with holes, very intermittent wifi. water leaks from electric light fitting and wall in bathroom & induction hob had to call maintenance 3 times to get it going.! Basic & minimal cooking utensils. Stayed the whole Jan 24 - requested a large balcony -given one so small two sunbeds could not be accommodated Fabulous holiday but overall 5 out 10 for apar**ent. Sorry Chic apar**ents -cannot recommend these villas.

Very comfortable, very clean and safe place to stay. About a 20 minute walk to the beach, and about 25 minutes to walk back. (The walk back is up a very steep hill). We had sea views from our balcony. The pool is nice and warm. Restaurants/bars are about a 15 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again

We chose this accommodation as we were travelling with two 14 year old boys & wanted a bedroom for them & one for my wife & I. We were not disappointed as the apar**ents are spacious & very well laid out. There is air con in the lounge, which was sufficient for the time we stayed, however it may not be in July & August. There is a housekeeping service 5 days out of 7 which is more than suffcient & the only negative was the shower which was not very powerful. There is a small on site supermarket which sells the essentials with a larger supermarket below the Altamadores which is next door. We were only there for 5 days so did not really use the pool area until the last day but found it to be very good, the pool is not the biggest but is heated. We used the Pool Bar as well & found the food to be good & extremely reasonable. The beach is a 15 minute walk away & a 5 Euro taxi ride back. The views are stunning down towards Amadores Beach as well. It is not really a place to take young children as there is very little to do other than soak up the sun but we knew this after doing some research & were happy using it as a base to explore Amadores & Puerto Rico.

I don’t want to complain to much as I paid next to nothing for 4 days but it looks as though the owners of the hotel have given up or run out of money. Loads of general maintenance needed & smell of drains in the bathroom. Balcony also needs loads of attention as the decking is falling apart. Hardly seen any staff but those I did see were polite. Pool is tiny in comparison with photos.

The apar**ents and complex are lovely, the grounds are very well maintained and the rooms are large spacious and of a very good quality. The pool area and pool is on the smaller side but never had an issue finding a bed and there was 6 of us. The apar**ents are fin a quite area with the beach and closest ‘Center, about 10/15 minutes walk away. My issue with this place is on the service side and it’s extremely poor. We arrived at around 8pm to a closed reception area and locked gate with no staff member in sight, leaving us walk down the road with all our luggage to get the attention of another guest to open the gate, from there we had to wait for the caretaker to arrive on reception to give us our keys, not ideal after 8hrs travelling. The next day we go to the pool to find the pool bar closed we asked on reception to be told the manager closed the pool bar ‘for now’ so for a drink and lunch ‘at the pool’ lead to a shopping trip as the hotel shop is a small storage room with very limited capacity and availability due to reception being the pay point and only open 6/7 hrs per day and less on weekends. When we booked a shuttle to and from the beach and in room dining were advertised again the manager had stopped them ‘ for now’, none of these closures were communicated to us before arrival and with relaxation by the pool being a huge part of my holiday plans the supermarket trips, returning to the room for drinks and snacks and other services ‘stopped for now without prior communication is unethical and inexcusable. Would not stay here again for the service reasons outlined. The pool bar and in room dining are still being advertised on the website as of 2 minutes before writing this review.

We have just returned after a 10 day stay, we would definitely return! The rooms are very spacious and clean and the air conditioning was sufficient for us during our stay and the Temps were on the late 20’s/early 30’s. The View from the Balcony and pool was beautiful looking over Amadores beach! It was by far one of the most relaxing holidays. If you are looking for hotel entertainment this isn’t the place you are looking for. The mini Market on-site was perfect for topping up water and snacks daily but only open 9am -3pm the shop at the hotel next door stayed open a little later until 5pm, alternatively there is Spar shop that is well stocked at the bottom of the hill or some supermarkets at the top in the Europa center. The wall to the Spar/beach is a steep decline and takes around 20mins. Unless you are really very fit walking back up would be challenging. Taxis cost around 4euro. The walk to the Europa center took around 15mins and is uphill, it is doable but depending on how hot it is, can be hard work. We downloaded the PIDE taxi app and it was so easy to use 😄 There are lots of lovely restaurants in the Europa center and along Amadores beach. The only negative that we had was the pool bar was closed for our entire stay, apparently the guy was on holiday: disappointing that they hadn’t covered his leave as we had factored in that we would be able to Grab some Snacks at lunch time on pool days, but not the end of the world! Nothing a bag of lays didn’t solve. Overall a really great place, with lovely staff. Would definitely recommend.

Nice and quiet apar**enthotel. Not to many units so it never felt overcrowded. We had a big apar**ent with two bedrooms, a big livingspace, kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom was not in the best shape, and could need some renovation, but always nice and clean. There was a good size balcony with nice views. The kitchen was big , but it was not equipped with enough cutlery, this was not a big problem for us. It had a washing machine for clothes and we got a drying rack upon request. The beds was not the most comfortable. The pool area was nice and quiet. Safe for the kids. The elevators was extremely slow and we even got stuck once. Luckily it went back down and opend up when we pushed the alarm button. For the reasonable price we paid we considered it a good stay.

Suberb, Clean ,Modern,Frendly and ideally situated. We were met by very efficient and frendly staff. We arrived late at night and were quickly guided to our room. The room was clean spacious modern and well equipped with stunning views of the sea and beach.
