Overall we had a good experience. The staff were very friendly and kind. The rooms were nice but the resort was too small. The beach was very narrow. Very limited beach or pool seating due to owner reservations. Dining options were also limited and food was lackluster. We wish the resort had more activities to do in the evening such as a game room, piano bar, or nightime shows. The resort has potential but missing a few elements to make it much better.

This is our 3rd time at the the Grand Residences. They will pick you up from the airport in their own cars. Its only 20 min from the airport. you can reserve your chairs ahead of time for the beach and the service from the staff is outstanding.

Everything at GR was terrific from the amenities to the service. There are a few reasons why I wouldn't go back. Many of the services are geared for the folks that are time share members which on one hand is only fair because they pay for that privilege but on the other hand as consumer we have choices. But know that the seating at the adult pool will have members there most of the time. You also have to set up your dinner reservations ahead of time and make sure to cancel if you can't make it or you can be charged. The biggest issue I had was that the pool bar was closed at 5pm and the lobby bar was closed at 10:30pm. Although the vibe of the location was that there really wasn't very many people at the bar at 10:30. If you read between the lines GR has a very low key vibe and next to no energy after 9pm. This review was difficult to write because the location itself is truly a 5 star but just not the kind of after hours fun this fifty something is used to. It could be the time time of the year but just know that going in.

Grand residence was amazing. The property is simply beautiful, very clean. The staff is very attentive. The beach bar had plenty of options for lunch. The two restaurants offered different theme nights with excellent food. Although there was no entertainment at night, the lobby bar was nice to get to know fellow residence and travelers, along with great drinks. We are already planning our next trip to grand residence.

1)Food
Very low food variety
Realistically Only 1 restaurant on the property but they change the name of it daily some meals have been good some not eatable. At the French restaurant my wife ordered tenderloin stake but she received some cheap sirloin and trust me I tried it too and I know my stakes. 24/7 Room service made up for restaurants just a little so over all food receive 3 stars.
2)Room
We got Master suite on the main floor with private terrace and pool/ hot tub.
Room was really good.

Dose not exist at the property pretty much.

Beach is rocky and dirty with no available lounge chairs ever. I’ll give them a break since it was storming couple of first days.

PS.
if you order some straight liquor make sure they open new bottle in the front of you and watch them pour it. Couple of times when I ordered Don Julio Blanco they purred some cheap Tequila in my glass that I could not even smell not to mention drink and I know my liquors very well.

We loved our trip. Perfect for what we were looking for (quiet and relaxing). Shuttle transportation was much appreciated and seamless. Our concierge staff member Tristan was amazing and everyone else we interacted with at front desk was friendly and helpful. I don't tend to re-book hotel locations (just like to explore as much as I can) but will definitely go back to this property in the future.

Definitely don't go here if you're a young person looking for a fun resort. There are no activities to do or anything interactive at all. There were no options on the rainy days so we were stuck in our room with nothing to do. The service was very slow; when we went to the restaurants it took us over 2 hours to get out, even though we ate our food in 20-30 minutes.
On the good side, this resort is very clean and has very friendly staff/service (for the most part; we had a couple servers get annoyed with us for no reason at all and were very rude). The rooms are very nice and get cleaned often.
