We have been to Temptation, a sister resort a few times and wanted to try Desire RM. Our expectations of Desire RM being a fun, sexy, safe and higher end resort were exceeded! The staff make it fun and safe and help to get the guests involved and to meet each other. The guests range from the 70s to the 30s and everyone we met were friendly and fun and interesting to talk to. I highly recommend Desire RM. We will be going again!

We stayed just one night out of 4 nights we had reserved. The atmosphere was terrible. If this is your first time, people see you as possible fresh meat.

This was my first time at Desire. Excellent staff, great atmosphere and a whole lotta fun ! Everything I needed was at my leisure. I have a few recommendations at the night club they should incorporate other types of music besides disco and Spanish music. I heard 3 Afro beats songs and 1 soca song from 1999. Also if you're there prepare to have a presentation for timeshare while this is a norm it shouldn't be so aggressive. That's the only part that dampened my day. Jorge is the best chef on the resort the food was excellent and the choices were just right. Also they should have a better system with pool seating.

They have too many guests for that tiny pool and not enough bartenders at the pool. The waitresses were awesome though trying to keep up with the demand

Had another fantastic stay at Desire Riviera Maya for our 4th trip. Love the rooms, the facilities, the open accepting environment, and the staff. Callouts to Elizabeth at the front desk, Cesar at the bell stand, Eduardo the server, Sharon & Yazmin the hosts, and Jesus the bartender for helping make it a perfect trip.
