I’ll start with the good. It’s a beautiful hotel. Top quality rooms. Comfortable beds and lovely linen. Most staff very good. Great location. Cleaners were efficient. The problems I found: This is not a family friendly hotel. It’s very quiet. No music around the pool, no inflatables. There’s nothing for kids at all. This wasn’t the issue, the thing that made it very child unfriendly was the other guests who seem to be under the impression this is adults only. My kids are teenagers. They were never noisy but we were made to feel unwelcome so stayed on the beach of our patio area mainly. We had booked All Inclusive but the hotel no longer offer this. They honour it if already booked but you have to use your key card and sign for everything. Some menu and drinks options are not included. There is no snacks or ice cream etc between meals it’s very much like full board. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice. Lunch was a limited menu you ordered from and the dinner buffet I felt was limited especially again for children and myself a vegetarian. We were a party of 5 and there were no table set for more than 4 so every meal time we struggled to find tables we could push together. We booked 2 interconnecting suites and a single suite for my MIL. These rooms could not have been further apart. We were on level one at the very end and my MIL was level 4 right at the other end. We booked 8 months in advance. The hotel was nowhere near capacity yet they couldn’t put us together? I visited the lobby bar and asked the waiter for a bottle of water and was told it was closed. He was there pouring drinks for another customer who was checking in so I didn’t understand what his problem was. Poss as I had my AI band on? We were there for the hotels location to the starting point of Ironman which my husband was taking part in. On arrival to the hotel he was asked to sign a big poster, invited to a photo call on the Friday morning, breakfast was opened early for them. Amazing, but after the race when my husband was in our room recovering I asked if I could take a few slices of pizza to him, bearing in mind again we are AI I was told no and pointed to a takeaway restaurant down the *****. Poor service imo. Whist there there was building work going on so it was very noisy in parts of the hotel.

Lovely clean hotel but a bit sterile. No music, not a soul in reception bar or the always locked lounge bar. Breakfast very good. Always excellent choice, hot and freshly prepared as well as just about anything else you could possibly want. Nice staff. Happy and obliging. Rooms - initially room toilet door didn’t let you out! Fixed immediately but door badly warped. Grouting in the floors could do with a steam clean. Beds lovely and comfy and top quality bedding. Good little kitchen area. Nice and quiet. No noise at night or from neighbours Overall very well run and spotless hotel. Very happy with stay here.

The best 4 star hotel we've stayed in. Architecturally designed to avoid dark claustrophobic corridors this spacious airy hotel exudes peace and calm from the moment you arrive. In the heart of town and direct access to the beach, it's a must stay. Rooms are big. Bed is super big and comfy. We had half board - which was an excellent choice, only having to get light lunch when out and about. Hotel buffet was very extensive and varied, with some food prepared to order. Recommend getting a taxi from airport (approx €18, no need to pre-book) and later hire a car from reception, it was no more expensive, and we dropped car off at airport, so convenient. Recommend the massage trea**ents in hotel, at least try one, it's worth it. Look no further than Plus Fariones Suite Hotel for a perfect stay in Lanzarote.

The hotel is really good we have stayed in Lanzarote many times & this is one of the best so far. Definitely recommend the Select option which gives access to a few lovely extras, well worth the extra. We are only staying bed & breakfast as we like to venture out for meals but breakfasts have been fabulous as Select have an a la carts menu should you wish to order from that. The service is excellent. One highlight has been the amazing massage by Sonia in the Beauty Salon.

Very good hotel right on the beach. Positives: - Bedrooms now have aircon since refurbished -Comfortable sun loungers and plenty of them. -Comfortable beds. -Great Bathroom and rainforest style showers. - Pool towels in the bedroom that can be replaced as needed. Negatives - breakfast food was mediocre - dinner not much choice - would not recommend half board - I like the cashless system but would like to get a receipt so I can keep track of what I’m spending during the week Would I return: definitely but B&B only

Absolutely fantastic week here, hotel has recently been refurbished and looks brilliant. Room was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. Staff in particular were first class throughout our stay, great pool area with a lovely bar offering a good selection of food and drinks. Would stay again, highly recommended!

Finally got around to writing a review! We had a great week here. Room was fabulous and spacious and spotlessly clean. Great view of sea. We paid extra for the room that also came with the rooftop pool which we loved especially at sunset with a glass of fizz and nibbles. . Food could be better to encourage half board and maybe hotter but service always good. We eat out in evenings. Would definitely return and recommend.

Lovely hotel, we had a great room on the 4th floor with large balcony and a sea view. Sun on the balcony from about 10.00am until sunset. Breakfast was very good. Evening meal a bit of a hit or miss. My only issue with the hotel was the charging for drinks and being asked to sign a blank screen. When asked to see the amount I was signing for I was made to feel uncomfortable by the staff, especially one waiter in the restaurant, as if I was being unreasonable. It put me off buying drinks in the hotel. I normally spend about 200 Euros in a hotel while on holiday, however on this occasion I only spent about 40 Euros . I would however return.

Only just got round to writing this review we visited August 2023 the hotel had only been opened 2 weeks so wasent sure wat to expect as a bit buliding work was still going on around the outside Positives - Beautiful hotel the decor and flooring is outstanding and all the surrounding areas best I've seen Reception upon arrival very welcoming and was told everything you need to know about your stay We booked a open suite sea view was lovely think we were first in the room everything was there wat we needed. We didn't really use the kitchenette, our choice but did use the fridge and did make cups of tea /coffee Great showers lots of towels do check wen u arrive as my mum and dad had there own room and the toiletries they supply were missing but think on it had just opened and was replenished the next day by the lovely maids who work so hard Our view to the sea was amazing to sip a few cocktails before venturing out Lots of sunbeds around the pool and there is a gate directly on to the beach just need to swipe r card to open we choose this hotel as we love to be by the sea Lovely food around the pool at lunchtime looking out to the sea Night entertainment hit and miss but we did enjoy most singers however we tend to go out most nights Waiter service at night we found to be good and wasent waiting long once ordered Half board ( evening dinner ) not lots of choice however everything we ate tasted lovely as it is more cooked to order it suited us it is a bit more continental style NEGATIVES - Can get very confusing with r bill as this is a cashless hotel but we had to keep checking our bill everywhere day and go pay at reception as some other reviews said there bills was wrong IE paying for drinks they not had Would be better if you could use some kind of debit or someother card to pat straight away No day time entertainment would have been nice the odd day water yoga or something similar There was some back ground music in the afternoon which was nice to hear In all I do feel the evening meal does need a few more stations with different foods on The system for the drinks needs addressing as you don't seem to know wat r bill is and stops you half way through r holiday visiting reception guessing wat u owe or thinking wat u owe as a few times there bill was different to ours Meet some lovely respectfull people at this hotel , and it was our first time in puerto del carmen We have booked to come back again AUGUST this year we carnt wait as It will have been opened 12 months from wen we last came so I'm sure there will be more improvements to see Just one last thing not lots going on for children entertainment wise but lovely kids pool Brillient life guards and on the beach wat more would they want 🍸
