Hotel Las Costas

Fijn hotel, prima gelegen vlak bij het brede strand en niet ver van de gezellige boulevard van Puerto del Carmen. Hebben een prachtig zwembad voorzien van enigszins verwarmd water. Kamers zijn mooi en ruim, alleen wij hadden helaas een kamer met terras met uitzicht op het dak van de eetzaal. Aangezien het hotel volgens de receptie vol was konden we helaas geen andere kamer krijgen. Het ontbijt is goed en uitgebreid, het diner was wat minder m.n. doordat er beperkte keus was qua hoofdgerechten . Personeel in restaurant is zeer vriendelijk.

Fabulous hotel. We’re here at the moment and really enjoying it. First time at this hotel. We were upgraded on arrival so that was a bonus, and our apar**ent is great. The beds are massive and really comfortable, as were the pillows - very important to us!! Nice to have fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making equipment. Lovely power shower. Apar**ent spacious with a massive terrace - table & chairs & 2 sunbeds. Everywhere and everything is spotless. Pool area is great - I like that the sunbeds have plenty of space between them. There are also sofas along the back in the shade. Great access to beach area through the back gate. There is a book swap library with a nice quiet seating area. Great lounge - the seats are so comfortable, and entertainment from 9 pm every evening. The hotel staff, without exception, are so friendly, efficient and accommodating.. Dining room is good with plenty of choice, and I like that you can eat outside as well. We’ve been coming to this resort for over 25 years and this is the best place we’ve stayed.

Great spot next to the beach. Lovely staff, great comfortable accommodation. Lovely food. Our second visit we will be back.

A wonderful 4 star hotel made even better by the front office staff. No visible sign of any manager during my holiday but the front office staff did her/his job . On arrival at the Hotel we received a friendly ,pleasant and informative greeted by the front office receptionist . 10/10. A porter brought our luggage to our well appointed , spotless room which was expertly cleaned daily 10/10. I looked forward to Breakfast and Dinner as the selection, variety of available food was excellent 10/10. The restaurant staff were in no way helpful . The Breakfast staff were organised but the Dinner staff , especially the ladies were having chats with each other 4/10. We were assisted at the Carvery by a wonderful Chef, Ismael , a wonderful ambassador. Chefs on the Carvery should wear name badges as they were all so helpful.10/10. The Restaurant needs a Manager. The Bar staff are professional and friendly. Why not use the same house wine in the restaurant as the Bar. Having a glass of wine in the Bar is a good experience but I would advise bringing your wine from the Bar into the restaurant as the house wine in the restaurant is undrinkable . I loved my stay and will return in September. I have been going to Lanzarote for 20 years and this was the best venue I have ever holidayed at. Beware of a restaurant directly across the road “Costa Luz”. They quoted me €10.50 for the special and charged me €24.95( See “Costa Luz” on TripAdvisor “) A great Lunch across from the Hotel “ Roadside Grill Steak House” , Try the Sirlion Steak and the Prawn Cocktail

Just back from a 7 night stay in Las Costas. Very clean hotel, rooms cleaned daily. No trouble getting sun beds. We were half board. Breakfast was a bit repetitive but you will always find something to eat. Dinner in the evenings not great. often a queue to get one of the 2 mains. being a typical 'paddy', some of the choices were not to my liking. Got to a stage after 3 days we started eating in one of the local restaurants. About 15 minute walk into the main *****. Both my wife and myself have slight mobility issues; but if we took our time we could manage it. Would normally get a taxi back costing €4 or €5. We always returned for a few drinks in the hotel bar. Entertainment was normally a lone singer. Nothing to write home about. Think we only saw 4/5 children during our stay. Would not be going here with teenagers or even younger children. Nothing to entertain them apart from table tennis and a gym. Mots of the guests, like ourselves, over 50. Would I go again ? yes but only B&B

What can i say, this was our 4th stay at Hotel Las Costas. Such a lovely hotel, clean, beautiful rooms, service is out of this world . We were offered daily change of bedding and towels. Food was plentiful , different menu every night, the service in the restaurant was fantastic (if on the menu, try the cheesy creamy spinach, its very good). Would highly recommend this hotel for all the services provided and is situated not far from main *****. Another great holiday. Thank you all so much for a lovely relaxing time. Look forward to booking our 5th stay with you.

This hotel lives up to its rating, Location is a short walk into Puerto del Carmen and a longer walk to Matagorda. Staff in all areas are really excellent. I marked it a five rating even though the food, while more than adequate, was lacking a real quality of choice. The hotel is due for refurbishment next April (closing down for 3 months) although I really cannot see what can be improved. ? Highly recommended

Arrived25/3 for 11 nights I’m writing this on the Bali-Bed as my pick up is 18.30. Check in was excellent and given room 1153 which was a pleasant room but albeit never got a lot of sun. Breakfast was great everything you really need was there. We were not overly keen on dinner but everybody to their own. Rooms were cleaned to a very high standard. 15 minute walk into playa del Carmen and about same to Matogordo. Weather was poor first 5 days but picked up to what you expect in Lanzarote. If I returned it would be on a b&b basis

Very good location, just at the fringe of promenade where the activity is. Great service. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Accessible to a very nice stretch of beach. Breakfast included, sets you up for the day. Avoid the buffet dinner. Fantastic car rental service, highly recommended, inexpensive & car delivered to your hotel. Definitely a place to return to on next visit.
