La Maesta Antica Dimora di Campagna

Up on a hillside, away from the busy town, sits La Maesta, an agriturismo inn and restaurant. We stayed one week, using it as a springboard to seeing the sights in Umbria (Spello, Assisi, Trevi, etc). Our rooms were simple and comfortable, with air conditioners and windows with views of the countryside. There was a living room area where we could play cards, read, or just hang out and visit. On the ground floor, was a dining room which opened onto the patio dining area and a path leading up to the pool. Each morning in the dining area, we were brought fresh juice, and offered up the day's choices for breakfast, usually breads, cakes, eggs, fruit, or yogurt. All fresh, all delicious. And of course, capuccinos. Each evening we were offered cheeses, meats, and breads to go with whatever we might be drinking. We loved waking up here, coming back at the end of a day of exploring, and plopping into the comfy firm beds. But we also loved the day we spent just hanging out here, enjoying the views, the pool, the beauty of this medieval building, and the easy hospitality of the team here. One day we took a pasta cooking class, which would be fun for kids, too. The best part really was the people on the team here. Ledy, Sandro, and their team were all so kind and generous. We are so glad we spent a whole week here.

We had a 31 person group meal at the restaurant. . As a group we were dropped off at the bottom of the driveway and cars had been laid on for those with mobility problems. The food cannot be faulted with excellent in-house recipes beautifully cooked. The service was also very good. When we left we had to light our way down the drive with our phone-torches.

A group of us only lunched here, with excellent hospitality, first class food (including much care taken with vegetarian and vegan members). I would visit again with no hesitation, although I think if you were staying here you'd need your own transport. The building was authentic and the food typical of the region. Altogether an experience to remember!

Siamo una coppia di 20 anni e abbiamo passato ben 5 notti alla Maestà e dobbiamo proprio dire che ci siamo trovati benissimo. La struttura è molto antica anche se curata in modo perfetto, ha uno stile molto tipico ma di classe.la posizione è perfetta per godere di un po’ di relax e per ammirare tramonti mozzafiato. Le camere anche se in stile vintage sono dotate di tutti i comfort, e la pulizia è ottima. La nota in più di questa struttura è il cibo, lo staff offre dei prodotti di produzione propria o di altri agricoltori/allevatori della zona e la qualità si sente. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è veramente ottimo e i proprietari sono veramente gentili e disponibili. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Lo consigliamo veramente a tutti

Un fantastico soggiorno ,posto stupendo ,proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili ad ogni nostra esigenza,i piatti proposti tutti fatti in casa e divinamente cucinati vino ,olio,marmellate,pane autoprodotti …torneremo sicuramente

La Maestà non è semplicemente un agriturismo con panorama incantevole, belle stanze, colazioni e cene che soddisfano occhi e palato. È una casa accogliente, gestita da persone che si prendono cura degli ospiti, anche con le materie prime che coltivano e con i piatti che creano. La Maestà è fatta di persone, storie e gentilezza che tornano a casa in valigia con noi.

È stato un soggiorno estremamente piacevole. Personale gentilissimo, aperitivi a bordo piscina e cena squisita con prodotti locali e di pasta fresca fatta in casa. Ottime le torte a colazione di produzione propria. Consiglio vivamente soprattutto a chi vuole rilassarsi.

Siamo stati cinque giorni in questo agriturismo davvero bello …Posto super curato, cibo ottimo tutto di produzione locale sia della cena che della colazione, personale gentile e disponibile sia della sala, che delle pulizie che il proprietario …cura del dettaglio bella la zona piscina anche se con tante zanzare ma essendo in mezzo alla natura, ci può stare. Speriamo di tornare presto per gustare altri piatti buoni e per rilassarci nelle colline umbre. Bravi, a presto Margherita e Fabrizio

Location stupenda dove regna il silenzio e la tranquillità per un completo relax. Ottima pulizia e personale sempre gentile con il sorriso. La location è bellissima!! Colazione e cena al top con ingredienti di prima qualità a km zero. Un grazie al signor Sandro per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità nel consigliarci cosa visitare nei dintorni e un grazie particolare alla Chef Lady per averci coccolati e deliziati con le sue creazioni e per la sua immensa dolcezza.
