Best Western Marquis Inn Suites

I swear I was victimized by every depar**ent in the hotel. The only thing good about my stay was the checkin then I didnt get to see that agent again. I kept my mouth shut when i was shown attitude or given smart remarks from the staff. This was until I went down for breakfast the morning I was leaving. The two employees were anything but nice and welcoming towards me maybe because I was the first and only one there or that I was not washed up enough to eat down there im not sure. Mind you I am a young aboriginal female who has always been stereotyped and criticized as a young aboriginal female. When i was done plating my breakfast and grabbing my coffee and yogurt I felt very uncomfortable so I decided to try balance everything in one arm and go up to my room on the second floor and all the way down the hall while having to use my cane that morning because of the pain in my left leg due to arthritis and weather change. Those two staff really pushed me over the edge when they wouldnt help and didnt stop staring at me even when i asked them to stop. Blood boiling im ready for checkout I asked a housekeeper if she can bring me up a cart for my many bags but nothing! Front desk called me didnt ask me but demanded i go downstairs to checkout im waiting for a cart but she tells me that they dont do that wheres the hospitality right! Shes at my door yelling and banning me. Im leaving as they all watch me push my heavy cart of bags using my cane. Ive worked in hotels b4.. not cool.

The room was clean and stocked. Check-in and out were quick and efficient. It’s so nice to get complimentary breakfast with your stay.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful but due to their being a liquor store and lounge @ the back of the property we were concerned for the safety of our vehicles. Other then we enjoyed our stay!

Hair dryer didn’t work rooms didn’t get done and we were gone till 3 in afternoon,garbage not emptied

The hotel was only 2 stories and we had room on the main floor. MISTAKE. We could hear cars coming and going all night. NOT to mention people in the hallways, almost all night. Then there was the most uncomfortable bed I've even attempted to sleep on. My hips and back hurt so bad, I didn't sleep a wink. And the breakfast, ******* (and the hotel website) showed this hotel as having a "Free cooked-to-order breakfast available daily". No there wasn't. Just pre-made omlette, soggy sausages, cold tater tots, cold pieces of waffles. And the typical juices, cold cereals, muffins, etc. Pretty disappointing.

not so good. room was not clean, dirty floor, and hair about. However, the building is just tired and in need of updating.

Stayed for 2 days to get away, the food was fantastic, the customer service was amazing, and the rooms were neat and clean.

I didn't like the 'fit and finish' of the bathroom vanity coming apart, no bathroom fan, the cups and ice bucket kept in the bathroom, loudness of the air conditioner, missing top sheet and terrible springs on the sofa bed. My family member's room had no mosquito screens on the windows.

The area around the property is not well taken care of. The room we received was dated and very dirty. During the night there was a dog barking. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. I know this review won’t go far…but this was our experience! Very doubtful we will stay again!!
