Very pleasant hotel to stay in Prague. The other reviews are very true. The highlights are: quiet room and comfortable bed very good breakfast, especially the excellent breads ( I wish I could get the recipe! ) 24/7 supply of coffee, hot water, tea and wine for daytime great customer service: both Tom and Osmy are fluent in English and very helpful. diligent house keeping: your room is always clean and tidy when you came back from sightseeing. AC works fine although a little noisy at night The most important: there is an elevator. My husband had knee problem during our stay. We had to ask staff to put/get the ice-pad in/out of their freezer, or to give us a bag of ice-cubes many times (we stayed for five nights). We always get quick help from them. We used Uber a lot during our stay due to my hubby's knee hurt. We didn't get chance to exchange for Czech's currency thinking everywhere accepts credit card. We went to St. Jame's for one of the International Organ Festival performance one night. The tickets were sold at the door and only Franc or EURO were accepted. We tried to exchange US dollar for Franc with higher rate than official's in a grocery store nearby and was rejected. In the end Osmy helped us and saved our night! Thank you! The hotel is close to old town square and also not far from the road bypass the city center. That made the trip from/to the airport easier. The only thing bothered us was the toilet seat in our bathroom. I believe that it is pursuing a fancy design which actually sacrificed comfort.

We stayed at Hotel Hastal for five nights. From our room, we had a wonderful view of a church across the street. With the windows closed, the room was very quiet. A bit noisy in the evenings with the windows open, but quiet after the bars and restaurants closed. Room was air conditioned but we didn't use it. Bed was comfortable. Room was in good condition and was refreshed every day while we were out. Breakfast was very good. Coffee, tea, pastries available all day. The staff were friendly and pre-stay communication was excellent. Location was convenient to Old Town, Josefov. Bus stop was a one minute walk.

This hotel was fantastic! Boutique hotel with tiny rooms but the atmosphere is amazing. The terrace for happy hours and gathering is equipped with blankets and extra cushions for chairs, bring your own drinks and snacks or enjoy some from the fantastic hotel lobby bar. The lobby bar and breakfast nook are nestled in an old bank vault! Very cool. Excellent service with free wine, coffee and water available 24/7 and some light pastries were a nice treat. This hotel is located next to the town square making it simple to get around this beautiful town

Hastal got my highest rating ever. Excellent location to explore prague, central but in a quiet area. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Comfortable bed and soundproof room. Everything met our expectation. Special mention to the free coffee 24/7.

Location is perfect, employees are perfect. I really like it. Breakfast is also fine! There is a coffee and tea machine ı think it is also chance!

An excellent family run hotel - great location to walk to most of the sights in the old town. Staff very friendly, informative and helpful. Rooms very clean and spacious with en-suite facilities, they have a “garden area” at the back of the hotel but too cold when we were there, would be lovely in the summer. The bar is a cocktail bar and only has one beer on offer. Cocktails are specialised and on the top end price wise, staff again very informative. Breakfast is buffet style - plenty of choice for all. Free coffee available all day - coffee out of the machine is very good. There is also free wine available but we did not use. Would I return to this hotel? Yes in a heart beat.
