This hotel is overpriced for the quality of service and facilities provided. Some of the staff were unhelpful and, at times, quite unfriendly, which left us feeling unwelcome. The apartment we stayed in did not have any internet connection. In 2025, it is shocking that a hotel can operate without WiFi for its guests. To make matters worse, one of one family reported that money was stolen in the seating area near reception — something that raises serious concerns about security. The self-catering facilities were also very poor. The flat was missing basic essentials such as salt, cooking oil, or even a cereal bowl. When we asked reception, nothing was provided. At most self-catering hotels, these small but important items are standard, so it was very disappointing. The only positive part of our stay was Vanessa, who was kind and helpful throughout. Unfortunately, her professionalism alone could not make up for the many shortcomings we experienced. If Vila Rosa Hotel wants returning customers and to remain competitive, some staff need proper training on the importance of customer service. Guests should also expect basic facilities such as WiFi, essential items in the self-catering flats, and above all, security to prevent theft. Without these improvements, it is only a matter of time before customers stop coming back.
