เราเพิ่งกลับมาจากโรงแรมสองสัปดาห์ที่ยอดเยี่ยมที่ Poiano Resort นี่คือโรงแรมที่น่ารักในสภาพแวดล้อมที่สวยงาม เรามีห้องมาตรฐานสองห้องซึ่งหนึ่งในนั้นอาจมองเห็นวิวที่ดีที่สุดที่ฉันเคยเห็นจากระเบียงของโรงแรม และอีกห้องหนึ่งก็น่าอยู่แม้ว่าจะไม่น่าทึ่งเท่า ห้องพักมีมาตรฐานสูงพร้อมพื้นที่เก็บของมากมายตู้เย็นทีวีกาต้มน้ําและเครื่องเป่าผมในห้องน้ําขนาดที่เหมาะสม บริการ / ทําความสะอาดเป็นประจําและได้รับการดูแลเป็นมาตรฐานสูง รีสอร์ทมีความรู้สึกผ่อนคลายสําหรับครอบครัว แต่ระดับการบริการสูงโดยเฉพาะในร้านอาหาร เราพักครึ่งบอร์ดพร้อมอาหารเช้าที่หลากหลายและเพลิดเพลินกับเมนูอาหารชุดในตอนเย็น เราสงสัยว่าตัวเลือกจะเป็นอย่างไรในตอนเย็น แต่ไม่ต้องกังวล มีสลัดบาร์ตามด้วยสองหลักสูตรที่คุณเลือกในวันนั้นจากนั้นบุฟเฟ่ต์ของหวาน อาหารเรียกน้ําย่อย/หลักเป็นอาหารประเภทเนื้อสัตว์ ปลา และมังสวิรัติ และมีอาหารอิตาเลียนแท้ๆ มากมาย เราลองอาหารมากมายซึ่งเราอาจจะไม่ได้ทําอย่างอื่นและไม่เคยกินสิ่งเดียวกันสองครั้ง ยกเว้นทีรามิสุ แต่เมื่ออยู่ในกรุงโรม... อร่อยอย่างแน่นอน พนักงานเสิร์ฟที่เอาใจใส่สั่งอาหารและเครื่องดื่มที่โต๊ะและไวน์ในบ้านนั้นดีเป็นพิเศษและมีค่าใช้จ่ายเพียง2.5 ยูโรต่อแก้วเท่านั้น รีสอร์ทมีสระว่ายน้ําขนาดใหญ่พร้อมเตียงอาบแดดมากมาย และสิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกด้านกีฬาอื่นๆ มีกิจกรรมบางอย่างให้บริการในระหว่างวัน ฟุตบอลโปโลน้ํา ฯลฯ เป็นตัวเลือกที่น่าสนใจ แต่ไม่แทรกแซงกับสันติภาพมากนัก พื้นที่ในท้องถิ่นนั้นง่ายต่อการสํารวจโดยรถบัสหรือทางเรือและมีจํานวนมากที่จะช่วยให้ผู้ใหญ่และวัยรุ่น 3 คนสนใจ โดยรวมแล้วเป็นวันหยุดที่ยอดเยี่ยม หวังว่าเราจะยังอยู่ที่นั่น!

We did booked a room for 4 nights with City view. Got a room with Bamboo view - first floor above garage exit behind a hedge of Bamboor at 3 meters away from the balcony. Reclamation at the reception l earned thet first there were no rooms with city view, secondly it was our own mistake and shouild not book via Bookit. Than I left.... At checking out, the concept invoice was not correct. We have been here several times before Covid. Not sure if we will return

We spent a few days at the B&B Hotel Affi Lago Di Garda this week and I have mixed feelings about the place. The staff were excellent. They worked very hard to understand and be understood and were extremely helpful. The Room The room was a good size with high ceilings and a large window. The bed and pillows were excellent. The bathroom included a bath, very good shower and bidet. Everything was clean and in great condition. There was a safe and a small fridge in the wardrobe, a desk, chair and stool. On the downside, there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, and we had to ask at reception for two (plastic) glasses so we had something do drink from. The aircon system in the room unfortunately wouldn't turn down and would only pump out heat. The temperature got as high as 30C so we had to sleep with the windows opened to be comfortable. The room also only came with a single toilet roll, which caused a rushed and embarrasing trip in the lift to get another from reception. Facilities This is a basic hotel offering the minimum of facilities, but at the price it's what you would expect. There is a seating area in reception and tables outside, which we saw a few other guests using. In reception there are fridges selling water, soda and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices and some shelves of basics like biscuits and deoderant, which you pay for at reception. The staff are happy to order taxis and add breakfast to your booking if you haven't included it already. Breakfast Terrible. The breakfast room is large and the staff member working in there was very efficient, but the food is absolutely awful. The only hot food on offer at breakfast is chopped-up hotdog sausages and scrambled egg. As for the rest, there is off-brand breakfast cereal, bread, cheap local ham, cheese and some fruit. This is not a good selection at all and leaves you feeling inadequately set up for the day, especially from a hotel that has the word 'breakfast' right there in its name. In the dining room there is also a machine offering fruit juice and a very good coffee machine. Lastly: The hotel is NOT on Lake Garda. You cannot see the lake from the hotel. It is a 20 minute, €45 taxi ride from the lake. If you want to get to somewhere beautiful like Sirmione, then the cab will cost you a minimum of €80, each way. Taxis generally are EXTREMELY expensive, and for a hotel as far away from the airport as this one is, they can affect the whole holiday negatively.

We consider that Gardaland Hotel is the most convenient option for visiting the Gardaland Resort theme park. The park is not very far and the Hotel provides a free shuttle bus to and from the park. Our 3 nights stay included the park tickets for me, my wife and our daughter plus the tickets for Sea Life (which is a nice addition). The Hotel is very clean, the food selection is good and tasty. We opted for the dinner package at Wonder Restaurant and we are happy with our choice. The staff is helpful and friendly and even though they address you in Italian, they speak and understand English.

Myself and my son stayed at the Corte Cavalli in Sept 23. It's a beautiful old estate 8-10 min by car / cab (15 Euro) away from the centre of Peschiera. The hotel itself can be found at the bottom of a long driveway and is is made up of a number of buildings which also house the reception, restaurant and wellness centre. I have to say that this is one of the most charming hotels I've stayed at for a number of reasons. The rooms themselves are typical old style Italian but with everything you need including air con and beautiful bathrooms. They are cleaned daily to a high standard. Beds very comfy. All staff are warm and friendly and bend over backwards to be of assistance. The pool area is well equipped, clean and very peaceful being surrounded by fields. We stayed half board and the quality of the food was excellent. The only slight negative was the repetition throughout the week. It's a 3 course menu with a few choices for each course each evening. There was something new each day but still, in my opinion, a few more options throughout the week would be beneficial. Waiting staff are helpful and are multi-lingual so don't worry if your Italian is a little rusty! If you dont have a car, Peschiera itself has a port so the ferries which operate as water taxis, can take you to other destinations round the lake - timetables are available online or from the hotel / port booking office. There is also a train station. Verona is 20 mins away and Venice 1.5 hrs by train so perfect for day trips. The hotel has bike hire which is recommended if you don't have a car as constant cabs into town can prove costly. The wellness centre consists of two saunas, large whirlpool and two sensory showers. There is also a treatment room for massages ( charge applies) The weather was great with an average of 25 degrees. Im told its like this in May and September. July and August can be very hot and humid and the hotel and resort gets busy. The upshot is, if you want a friendly, peaceful place to stay in beautiful surroundings to recharge your batteries and read that book you have had bedside your bed for the last 12 months, then this really is the place for you.
