Very spacious rooms, enjoyed the colonial design, friendly staff and very good breakfasts. Easily accessible to supermarkets and the school. Only set back was I asked about DSTV, was confirmed that all available sports channels are offered but only to find no cricket channel (201, 212) A recommendation would also be to consider air conditioning as I found the fan non effective. On the whole, a very pleasant stay and would certainly visit again.

I had a delightful stay at King George Guest House! The staff was incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that felt like home. The cleanliness of the place was impressive, and the enthusiastic receptionists added a positive touch to my experience. Not to mention, the breakfast was simply awesome – a perfect start to each day. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay Owners are very friendly and helpfull with information on what to do in Port Elizabeth area. Real English breakfast with nice fresh fruit and juice. Room was clean and good qulity matrass

Good location in Port Elizabeth. Large rooms, good size bed. Breakfast good,helpful and friendly staff. Went to watch the cricket at St George's Park stadium which was about ten minutes walk away. I nice place to stay.

My daughter was admitted to hospital in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) and we are from a different City. I booked into the Kind George's Guest House late at night, received an immediate response, and was exhausted when I got there. I was greeted in a friendly way, shown to my room, which was perfect, no load-shedding due to back up, excellent WiFi, and extremely comfortable. I booked in for a further night, also last minute, and I will definitely go back. It is actually ideal for holidays, with lovely swimming pools, massive rooms (for families too), such a friendly atmosphere, just perfect.

Beautiful Elizabethan styled house. All the rooms are renovated with a special and unique touches. Rooms are comfy and spacious. Perfect space for working and off the grid so no load shedding to interfere.

Dani and David are beyond welcoming and they make you feel like family, thank you. Breakfast is the highlight of my day and the team never disappoints. The rooms are always clean from top to bottom, and contain everything that you may need on your trips to feel more at home.

What a nice Guesthouse, that exceeded our expectations by far. Very friendly owner, safe location with fenced parking. Huge, very old house with old rooms and design, has an incredible vintage feel to it and is still really comfortable. We would go there again without any hesitation. One of the best stays of our entire trip. Breakfast was also really nice and included freshly prepared full English breakfast.

Was lovely to stay at the King George! The rooms and gardens were beautiful, clean, and well cared for and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Even with load shedding, we still had 24/7 wifi, though the rooms got a bit hot when the fans went off. Would have been great to have a shower in our room (it seems many rooms had but ours did not), especially as using the bathtub felt irresponsible in with the current water-related issues in the area. Otherwise it was a perfect stay and we would definitely come again and recommend it to others!
