Apartamentos San Miguel Park & Esmeralda Mar

We were absolutely delighted with this little find! Lovely Well Equipped Apartment, Two Great Pools. The food was excellent and plentiful, there was something different every day…. Highly Recommend the food on Spanish Night …. Gorgeous Tapas & Spanish Traditional Dishes - Well done Chef! The staff from the receptionist to the dining room, cleaning team and animation team are so lovely and helpful, just can’t do enough for you. We took our two grandchildren a six year old and two year old and they loved every minute of their time at San Miguel Park. Great entertainment from Jay & Evelin. It is a family friendly resort and a wonderful base for exploring the rest of Ibiza. The beach in San Miguel is lovely and there are great little supermarkets for any extras you might need. WHAT AN ALL ROUND LOVELY PLACE TO STAY! Thank you so much!

Couldn't fault this hotel. Great location for San Miguel. Brilliant selection of food, not repetitive, all tasty and fresh. Large, airy rooms which are clean. Very friendly staff. Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Lovely pool area. Check out is 11.30am but our transfer wasn't until 2.30pm and the hotel still let us use our all inclusive bands right up until we left.

Rooms do not match description on thier website in terms of number of beds and amenities. Avoid if you have any mobility issues. Steps and step slopes to get to room/pool/restaurant. Limited choice at meal times. Rooms were clean, staff friendly, plenty of comfortable sunbeds. Weather excellent. The town is remote with limited shops & restaurants. Decided to venture out for lunch, only one restaurant open.

Clean hotel, food not bad for 2* good variety, snacks ( only saw sandwiches in fridge) need to add more drinks on as its just coke & only estrella on draught, cocktails premade not bad tho,spirits available, hot drinks OK, ice creams available all day, not bad for few nights away with friends, staff at beach bar miserable, staff in hotel work hard but not full of smiles, got nice renovated room by bottom pool & entertainment area but friends got rooms up steep hill and needed renovated, very dated, yes all of us were bitten off mozzys but you get that most places abroad, need more beds around pools as hotel was full, overall enjoyed it only because of the company we had, but wouldn't go for a week with young family.

Oct 11th - 16th 12023 First review of a holiday but felt it needed done . The ok/good parts weather was good . The hotel is clean I will give it that and it looks nice and appealing but that’s about it. Don’t be miss led by the lovely bedroom pictures there not what you get , but rooms are good sizes and air con works . The food is terrible unless you’re happy with chips every day or the likes of dog fish and pig cheek . Drinks are good on all inclusive . Staff I wouldn’t no what to say other then so miserable and dam right rude apart from the one man who works behind the bar he was lovely . The pools are tiny and hardly no sun beds would hate to go in the summer . There’s literally 3 other hotels , a car rental , three shops and a 2 bars around and that’s it . You get ate to death from mosquitoes like I’m talking ate to death . Always wood lice in the room constantly . And everything is up hill. I no you can’t expect much from a 2 star hotel but I’ve been to a few through love holidays just for a few days away and this was by far the worst

The first room we got was abhorrent. It was an ugly studio down a dingy dark corridor. Avoid that area at all costs. It is the non renovated part that is not in main building area. Make sure you do not get that. Pictures look way better. But it is awful. We slept one night and immediately asked for an upgrade. We paid the difference (40 eu a day extra) for a better situation. We got a nice one bedroom in main building above buffet. Third floor. It’s all renovated and was great. The bed in bedroom was comfy and the couches are actually inbuilt beds in kitchen area. They can be used as couches too if it’s for a couple. Kitchen is well equipped. But you have to buy a sponge-soap pack at reception. There are also zero condiments. Not even salt. We just ate fruit n cheese and made tea so no prob for us. There is a big balcony. A/C works well. No issue w apartment. It’s loud until 11 pm as they have entertained at pool. (Skip that. It’s cringy). The breakfast buffet is 10 Euro and has a great selection. I ordered real coffee from bar as they one in buffet is not very good. Dinner is cafeteria food. Cost 17 euro. We were too tired so we succumbed to eating there twice. But if you have kids it’s convenient. Just know it’s pretty much cafeteria fare. People were chowing down. You get two drink tickets for alcohol. The sangria was as good as the food. Keep tickets for your morning espresso. They accept them. The staff at reception varied from rude to attentive. First night we got a rude response and it seemed we were annoying the receptionist. He was not helpful. Next day better folks. But overall acceptable. Depending. We asked about excursions and he said “can’t you read it’s all there”…. Okkkkk. We did not use pool. Or stay for entertainment. There is parking. Upfront. Best. Avoid driving up as it gets gnarly. Tight and unpaved. It was overall fine. Minus the awful first room and the grouchy welcome. Make sure you stay in renovated area above main pool. Or you will not love it.

I have travelled A LOT as used to work in Travel Industry and this is the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed at, the restaurant and eating areas were kept spotless throughout our stay, as well as all the paths and communal areas, and both pools. Our friends stayed in an upgraded room which was amazing, ours was older and more dated and up a super steep hill but again was beautifully clean and although not as pretty, had all the facilities we needed. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was absolutely lovely with plenty of choice at every meal. Evening entertainment was very good. The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from a few shops and bars etc. and the beautiful beach. It is a tiny and quiet resort so would need to travel elsewhere for a bit more life!! The resort suited us just fine but was very hilly so would probably not recommend to the less mobile. The ONLY thing that lets this place down is the attitude of the staff at the beach restaurant, they wouldn't even let us order drinks at the table as we had All Inclusive tokens from the hotel we were told to stand up and order at the bar!! We were very much made to feel uncomfortable in there which is a real shame but would not put me off returning to the hotel, I would also suggest that the management look into the quality of the soft drinks being served in the beach bar as they all tasted like fizzy water but they just shrugged when we asked for them to be changed!! All in all, we had a great time and would love to re-visit but PLEASE sort out the beach restaurant before our next visit!!!!!!!!

Went for an adult holiday and it was not what we were sold. The rooms were 1000 steps from reception up a very steep hill. Ended up renting a car. Rooms were very dirty despite complaining multiple times (see pics attached). Although bedding always clean to be fair. Had not been cleaned properly since previous guests (dirty razors in the shower) We decided to go all inclusive and the bar near our room was only open a few hours a day. Half the time they opened and closed early than the stated hours. You had to walk 1000 steps down to reception and 1000 back if you wanted a drink (3rd of a pint). This resulted in us buying drinks from the local supermarket and not using the bar we already paid for. Despite being told it was unlikely to have kids as in term time it was full of spanish kids screaming and unattended. Food was god awful with undercooked chicken nuggets and beef cheek as options which was a big no. Was told it was a wide selection but extremely limited. During the hours of the evening meal there was a children's disco which meant you could not eat your dinner in peace. Could never get a sunbed by the bottom pool as people would claim beds even though many signs forbid it. When asking reception to enforce this we were told we would have to do it ourselves. So they are happy to tell you to do something they wouldn't which is awful customer service. Surrounding area was beautiful which is the only positive I can think of, and that's not even about the hotel. 0/5 Maybe 2/5 at best if you go self catering.

Just returning from a week at this place… so let’s start with the positives! The location (San Miguel port) was lovely. Short walk down to the beach, supermarkets, car hire, restaurants, kayak / pedalo hire only few minutes away. Lovely quiet beach. Sun beds and brollys 8euro to hire but plenty of sand to lay on for free. Kayak hire 30min free for all inclusive if u get voucher from reception and book slot. We were in the upper most apartment block by roof pool… on the plus side I could go to pool anytime of day and it was empty. Plentiful umbrellas and sun beds and no towel reserving! Stunning views from here down to cove. I think lots of people couldn’t be bothered to walk up the hills to this pool. But it’s worth it for the views and peace and quiet. Bar by upper pool open 11-1 and 3-6. Lower pool busier but still no sun bed reserving! We spent many hours reading whilst kids played in pool 😂. Very steep walk from restaurant to upper apartments. Steps and steep incline so really not suitable for anyone with health conditions or mobility problems. Reception staff helped us hire car which was very reasonable and actually similar price for 2 or 3 day hire. Now for the downsides….. our room. The air conditioning didn’t work well. The doors onto balcony didn’t lock. The bathroom sliding door and trim constantly fell off so we didn’t close it rest of holiday as after multiple bruising from it falling on us. Beds VERY uncomfortable. Kids beds in living room only had a sheet so they were cold a lot. Rooms very noisy. Only one pillow per bed meaning not very comfortable. Patio doors rattling in wind, noisy people in room next door waking us up all week between 1am and 3am when home from night out. Meant no sleep all week. Heavy rainfall meant our room and living room saturated with water due to heavy rain and blankets left on floor to soak it up. Cleaning staff did excellent job and very friendly. Some bar staff lovely - especially Ana for teaching us Spanish.Others pretty miserable…. Entertainment team worked so hard to get everyone involved. But we gave up to the evening entertainment as dull. Illusionist one night was good. Food…. Lots of cold meats and salads. If you don’t mind hot fogs, pizza,fries and manky thin burgers you will be fine. Son had upset stomach for 3 days and refused to eat in hotel rest of holiday. Spanish and Mexican night best food options but sadly it was all lukewarm throughout our stay. So in summary. Lovely location, nice pool, nice beach but sadly wouldn’t stay here again. Travelled with 11 and 13 year old. Very steep to get to some apartments and lots of steps everywhere. Free table tennis was nice and kids enjoyed playing pool (2 euros a game).
