Sea Cliff Gardens

Beautiful grounds and home! The owner was wonderful and prepared amazing breakfasts. It was nice to find an actual true B&B that had great food. So tired of AIRBNB and VRBO with no breakfasts. Bill the owner was a great host! The view and gardens are very nice. Though not in full bloom in February, they are well maintained. We look forward to returning when they are in full bloom!

Great stay! Decorations were beautiful, breakfast was great, and rooms were fantastic. My wife and I plan on coming back later this year. Bill was great to talk with as well, very knowledgeable about the local area with great recommendations for this trip and future trips.

A wonderful stay. We really enjoyed ourselves. Nice view, comfy linens, delicious breakfasts. If you're looking for a really quiet base to explore the area, especially Olympic National Park, we highly recommend Sea Cliff Gardens.

Cozy, comfortable and beautiful. The building was snug and clean; the views and setting were spectacular, yet tranquil and peaceful. The 'amenities' cabinet (i.e., "things you may need or possibly forgot") was really well done.

It is as good as is looks online (and dare I say better). My husband and I spent three nights at Sea Cliff for a combo anniversary/babymoon weekend. The house itself is incredibly well thought-out both aesthetically and for the comfort of guests - full of little details and amenities (cookies in the room when you arrive! A cabinet in the upstairs hall full of all of the things you might have forgotten to pack!) The view from the room was unbeatable, the grounds are well-kept up and calming, and the location was perfect for us - a little over an hour one way up into Olympic National Park for some hiking, a little over an hour the other way to Port Townsend to check out the boats, and Sequim and Port Angeles both within 15-20 minutes for great evening dining. Bill has all the recommendations you need, and they're spot on. We will 100% be recommending Sea Cliff Gardens to others!

The view from our room overlooking the lovely gardens and the Strait of Juan de Fuca was breathtaking. Our host, Bill, was welcoming and helped us with recommendations for local dining and tips on exploring Olympic NP.

It was love at first sight as we walked down the cobblestone path to the welcoming front porch of Sea Cliff Gardens. Instead of a soulless modern hotel, we entered what felt like a well loved family home. Sea Cliff Gardens has warmth and character … something we crave in a world spinning out of control. Freshly baked cookies in the afternoon, a dish of chocolates by the door, a beautifully set breakfast table. And the gardens! Even in early autumn they were a riot of color framing the Strait of Juan de Fuca. And most important of all, Laura and Bill were kind and attentive innkeepers.

This is the second time I've stayed at Sea Cliff Gardens. The first time I visited with a friend. This time I brought my husband to enjoy the tranquility and hospitality of this wonderful property. It was everything I remembered it to be. The gardens were lovely. I enjoyed meandering down the garden with my coffee, made fresh and ready by 7 am every morning, to watch the skies and sea change in the morning. Breakfasts were delicious and Bill was able to accommodate our dietary requirements. The room was meticulously cleaned; the bathtub was spacious and in good repair; the bed was comfortable and restful. I highly recommend this property as a base to explore the north side of the Olympic Peninsula. It was easy to visit Port Townsend, Port Angeles, and Lake Crescent. We enjoyed good food, browsing in cute stores, and wandering along beaches and trails offering beautiful vistas.

My husband and I just finished our stay at the Sea Cliff Garden Inn. We spent 3 nights there and enjoyed every minute of it. The hosts are great, very personable and had good advice on restaurants and things to do based on our interests. The breakfasts were scrumptious. The bed sheets were some of the softest I have ever slept on. The view from our room which is the same from any of the rooms was wonderful. The huge English garden was starting to bloom and the aroma was heavenly coming from the verbena bush. The rhododendrons were almost all at their peak; the forget-me-nots and poppies added their charms as well. If you walk to the far end of the garden you can sit in comfortable Adirondack chairs and watch the activity on the Bay. Each night we watched the sunset paint the sky. There is also a large selection of DVD's to watch and novels to read if you forget to bring your own. We didn't want to leave this tranquil oasis and hope to return one day.
