Aparthotel Ciutat de Palol

Superb resort for large family. Close to the beach, short walk to the town (we had young kids and easy for them) and the pools are perfect size. Also walking distance to the waterpark which is also recommended. Service and food also very good. Thoroughly recommended

This was the second year running we have stayed at Ciutat de Palol - which really says it all. The apartments are well-equipped, clean and comfortable and the amenities are excellent. The daily housekeeping service is a real luxury. Underground car parking with direct lift access to the apartment blocks is extremely convenient. The complex is within a ten minute walk of the centre of Playa d'Aro where there are many shops, bars and restaurants to suit every taste and pocket. In fact, it is so good we will probably go back again next year.

This hotel was everything we were looking for. We came from the UK on the train, so it was an easy bus journey from Girona station. The grounds are lovely, fantastic family friendly pool. The apartment was great, spotlessly clean, practical, with a kitchen. Really lovely staff and service. Amazing beaches are a five minute walk away, town about 10-15. It was perfect for us, we will be coming back.

Just back after spending one week on this resort and would highly recommend it. To begin with the staff are friendly and attentive. The girls in reception are so helpful and were able to help me with some awkward requests. The pool area is clean and inviting with a 30m pool is great for a good swim as the pool doesn't get too crowded with plenty of sunbeds. In addition there is a selection of beaches across the road. The apartment we had was in C Block and has all day sun. The apartments are spotlessly clean and are cleaned everyday. Excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds, clean sheets and plenty of towels The hotel is close to town, approximately 1km, which is an easy walk. Parking in the hotel is underground and secure at €10 a day. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be retuning.

We've just returned from a brilliant long weekend. We took our almost 2 year old and it was a perfect trip. We hired a car as we wanted the freedom to go into Girona (a 30 minute drive), they have an underground car park which was £10 a day but worth it as it kept the car nice and cool in the 38 degree heat. We also used it to drive a bit further into the town although it was all within walking distance. There was a lovely beach a short walk away but we spent most of the time round the pool which was so well looked after. The children's pool was heated and a great size for toddlers and babies. It opens at 10am and there were plenty of sun loungers. There are lots of trees around the pool making it feel very relaxing and providing some shady areas. Our daughter also enjoyed the park on site. We didn't eat at the hotel as we used the small kitchen in the room which was well equip and we ate out. The rooms had black out curtains and the Airton worked very well so we slept well even with a toddler. The staff were lovely and very helpful, would definitely recommend.

Les points positifs: _ espaces verts et parties communes impeccables et belle piscine surveillée - emplacement proche de la plage et de Platja d'Aro. - parking sécurisé sous terrain - appartement confortable et bien agencé - ménage journalier Les points négatifs : le restaurant: - accueil et service très peu sympathique - aménagement très basique sur la terrasse - plats à la carte chers et avec un mauvais rapport qualité prix: par exemple, je commande en dessert une coupe Tiramisu à 7,50 €, on m'amène une petite verrine dans laquelle il y a une couche de glace café, une de glace vanille et de la poudre de cacao par dessus. Il est vrai que le Tiramisu est italien ... En résumé, je conseille pour une location en appart hotel, je déconseille le restaurant.

Meilleur hôtel en Espagne pour nous ! Petit complexe hôtelier. Nous avons réservé avec Pierre et vacances mais l’hôtel est géré de façon indépendante même si des chambres sont disponibles pour Pierre et Vacances. La gestion est effectuée de façon intelligente pour donner envie de revenir dans cet hôtel. Nous y sommes allés 2 fois et y retournerons sûrement. Les personnes que nous y avons rencontrées deviennent des habitués, preuve de la qualité de l’établissement. Les appartements pour 4personnes sont propres. Le ménage est quotidien. Un lave linge est disponible dans la salle de bain. Une machine Nespresso est disponible. Les ustensiles et l’électroménager sont suffisants. Manque juste un économe dommage ! Balcon petit mais agréable. Certains logements ont de plus grands espaces terrasses. Le bémol des logements serait : Les chambres côté rues bruyantes, la mauvaise insonorisation avec les voisins et les couloirs, le canapé lit vraiment pas confortable. La piscine est belle et la profondeur parfaite pour les enfants et les adultes. Un jacuzzi et une pataugeoire complètent l’espace piscine. Nous n’avons pas séjourné en demi pension donc pas testé le buffet mais avons goûté la paella et le poulet grillé qui sont parfaits. Le gros plus de l’hôtel est l’animation proposées pour les enfants qui est très bien dosée; ni trop, ni pas assez. Activité créative tous les jours avec un planning, aquagym pour les adultes, structure gonflable une fois par semaine pour petits et grands. Spectacles réguliers le soir. Terrain de sport bien entretenu et ombragé le soir. Jeux avec toboggan et balançoire… La proximité de la plage et du centre ville est très appréciée. Bars et Restaurants nombreux. Beaucoup de mondes donc attention si vous n’avez pas réservé à l’avance pour manger. Animation du soir à l’espagnole très sympa dans cette petite ville. Petit parc d’attraction et parc aquatique. Supermarchés à proximité. Jolies villes à visiter dans les environs. Belles balades à pied quand il ne fait pas trop chaud. Attention aux criques superbes mais difficiles d’accès en voiture faute de parking.

Wij verbleven met ons gezin 1 week in Ciutat de Palol , het was het eindpunt van onze roadtrip door Frankrijk en Spanje. Voor ons was dit een zeer geslaagde ervaring. We beschikten over een comfortabel 4 persoons-appartement met alle nodige faciliteiten (keukentje, sofa, TV, airco, WiFi, badkamer met wasmachine, WC en douche + een ruime, ondergrondse parking voor wie met de wagen reist) en waren fan van de rust die het geheel uitstraalde. Het complex ligt in een mooi, goed onderhouden park, beschikt over een groot zwembad (inclusief bubbelbad en kinderbad) en ligt op loopafstand van enkele idyllische strandjes (Cala del Pi, Cala de Rovira, Sa Cova), die zo typisch zijn voor de Costa Brava. Ook het grote strand en het winkelcentrum van Platja d'Aro zijn (te voet) vlot bereikbaar. Aparthotels van dit niveau zijn moeilijk te vinden in de regio, Ciutat de Palol is wat ons betreft dan ook een echte aanrader, ook voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen !

Nous avons découvert cet Appart hôtel via pierres et vacances. C est une très belle découverte nous reviendrons c est certain ! L endroit est magnifique et très bien entretenu. Les logements sont spacieux bien équipés (lit de 180). La piscine est très agréable et dispose de suffisamment de transat en plein mois de juillet c est appréciable ! La plage est à 5/10 minutes à pieds. Parking sous terrain très pratique. Quelques animations en journée très appréciées par notre fille de 7 ans. Nous n avons pas testé le resto, l hôtel est à quelques pas d une grosse artère commerçante avec une multitude de resto et de magasins. Enfin, le personnel est vraiment très agréable et fait tout pour que l on passe un bon séjour.
