La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ft. Lauderdale Plantation

Gabby and Derek were charming as usual and the checking in process was great. The bathroom in my room had hair matted in a corner and an additional used wash cloth was hanging on the shower curtain rod. I still consider this hotel as one of my favorites and a hiccup or two won’t prevent me from coming back. The amenities and breakfast are nice and the staff are always pleasant and welcoming.

Let's start off with the Hotel is pet friendly and seemed clean walking in aside from heavy scented air freshener. The room and bed clean and comfortable. The big problem the whole bathroom faucet was totally lose and ran very weak pressure, comparative to a turkey baster! Immediately checked the shower, it ran well. Unfortunately it drained as slow as the faucet ran! Staying only one night We accepted the situation. Notifying them in the morning Management did offer another room but as I said it was acceptably clean and only one night.

I had bifold closet doors for my bathroom door , instead of it by folding in the middle of the door, they took those hinges off, put them on the outside and mounted the two doors so you had to open both doors to get in the bathroom the toilet was cracked in six spots inside it was mold around the bottom of the trim in the bathroom. The room stinks. The bed was lumpy. I took the pillowcase off because it was old and stained and the pillow was ridiculously yellow slobbery stains sweat stains. It was so sick, so nasty The carpet was dirty inside the room. It stunk mold on the windows AC stunk of mold, I took the hotel because it was 7.5 out of 10 but it should’ve been a one. It was ridiculous. The elevator didn’t work had to go all the way to the other end of the hotel to use an elevator. The hallway hasn’t been vacuumed in a month and stunk of over spraying Lysol.and just dirty . The staff was fantastic. Super nice but it has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel . every window on the outside was moldy I couldn’t even see through my window in my room because of the mold on the outside.

We ended up staying here as a result of a bad experience at another hotel the previous day. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, the cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the room. All excelent. If I had to pick something to improve it would be the breakfast (I would have some more options). But that being said, I give it 5 stars considering the price point also.

I think we paid to much. But Rooms where clean, good bed. Safe area, breakfast and free parking. So it's ok

Basic hotel in Plantation. Standard check in. Some of the public areas looked like they had been abandoned mid decoration, and lift was out of order. Basic breakfast with lots of non recyclables / plastic wrapped in plastic utensils could do with a review. Most annoying thing was deposit taken on credit card. This was not refunded for a week, when I enquired as to where this money had gone I got this curt reply from them: “Hello. Please contact your bank. Thank you” ….not the best customer service. Overall, would not book again when there is plenty of choice in this area.

It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. There was a soccer tournament and kids were running the halls and screaming all night and nothing was being done by anyone to stop it. I want my money reimbursed

friendly, accommodating front desk staff. clean facility and comfortable beds. rooms have small dry bar and mini frig area, along with adequate area for sitting and eating. breakfast area kept clean with several options. the bathroom had no fan, so upon taking a shower it was fog city. would definately stay at their property again when traveling to the Fort Lauderdale area. two day stay with spouse after cruise.

They put us in a room that we couldn't hook ip to wi-fi or internet and when I requested another room the lady at the front desk said that wasn't a good enough reason to change or get reimbursed for the 2nd night stay. It wasnt the nicest LaQuinta ive stayed at, especially for the price i was charged. I probably won't go back to that hotel again.
