Hôtel très animé dommage qu il n y a pas plus d animation en Italien
Chambre très propre
Au niveau nourriture, pour un hôtel situé en Italie. Très peu de spécialités local ce qui est regrettable

What a wonderful time we had at TUI Magic Life Calabria! This was our 3rd holiday there and everything was amazing! We arrived and had a fast check in then went straight to lunch. Once we finished eating our room was all ready. We had a poolside view and the room was really nice. Our cleaner came in daily and did a great job but I didn’t get her name. The gardens are wonderful and the Magico restaurant was excellent. There is so much variety and everything was all cooked fresh and hot. Really enjoyed the freshly made pizzas and pasta and there were lots of meats and fish available plus salads, cold meats, vegetables, roasts, cheese, breads, different desserts, ice cream and fruit. We were spoiled for choice. I would like to thank Leon for helping to make our holiday so great too. My son met him as soon as we arrived and he was so welcoming and friendly. We all played the football Leon organised which was fun and my sons joined in other activities with him too. On an evening there was entertainment at The Wunder Bar and Leon always came over and chatted with us all which was really nice. We also got to know Werdy the singer who was a brilliant singer and Mareck one of the dancers. My son was made very welcome by Anca as she remembered him from our previous visits. The bar staff were all so friendly especially Emanuele, Luana, Alberto and Francesca. I would also like to mention the General Manager Aymen who was so kind, helpful and organised. He spoke to us on several occasions and it was a pleasure meeting him. It’s a beautiful resort and we look forward to returning.

Don’t go you can’t get water unless you are pregnant disabled or a child only at certain times of the day and this is direct from the managers mouth today. Advertised as all inclusive this is not and you can’t buy water either. Water is a basic right No air con and lost my suitcase couldn’t deliver to my room lost it

We have really enjoyed our stay nothing is too much trouble,everywhere is so clean and the gardens are beautiful and well kept,we particularly loved the woodland walk down to the beach and the beach bar is a must ,the live music was great . Special mention to Carmare the barman at the lodge bar his knowlodge was exceptional and so friendly thankyou to all the staff for making our holiday so memorable

Booked this place for mine and my children’s first holiday together and honestly it was amazing. The staff were so friendly, the place spotless and all staff around really did go above and beyond for us. The food was 10/10 with lots of choice. We visited Pizzo which was a 20 minute coach drive away and had the most perfect day. The private beach was stunning and we spent many happy days laying on the loungers soaking up the lovely sun with the most perfect view. Sadly we did have a bad experience with one of the resort cats I believe to live there as a pet. It appeared to be super friendly greeting guests all day but sadly when my son stroked the cat, it bit and scratched him sending us to the on sight doctor and my son needing antibiotics. I understand these things happen but I would have liked to have seen signs or be told to be cautious of the cat however there weren’t any, it was completely unprovoked and the cat continued to walk freely around the resort approaching other children which did make me feel very anxious about. This is my only criticism so if you do book just be cautious as I’d hate to see anyone else in this situation as it was very scary for my self and son and it did put me on edge that the resort allow what I consider a dangerous cat to roaming around guests after I informed them about what happened.

Do NOT come here unless you want a terrible experience. We have been here 5 days and given the hotel this long to sort ot the issues but they haven't. Apart from Gala night, the food has been cold,barely any choice and repetitive. Every other night has been cold roast beef or chicken. We were hoping for Italian cuisine but you can get better pasta and pizza in A Your local supermarket. The Broadway shows and local acts are non existent and have not been seen. The entertainment team only arrived the same day as us. The hotel is NOT just outside Pizzo it is miles from anywhere. The (curtesy) bus is 10€ each, only runs if there are 4 or more guests and times are not flexible. A taxi will cost 40€. If you get to Pizzo etc everything closes from 12 to 4pm. All the trips are around 8 plus hours and are either cheese and wine tasting or find your way around a town and a quick stop at a beach. If the weather is wet they still open the pool bar and expect you to sit on wet sunbeds or go to your room. We have suggested that they open the normal bars so we can sit and play games or read but that hasnt happened. We are so very disappointed but can't get home because they only fly to UK once a week. Our advice is swap your holiday if its not too late to do so. Cape Verdi or Turkey are a far better bet.

Before leaving we read the wildly varying previous reviews and were concerned and confused. We have just returned from a two week stay and the reason for the mixed reviews is obvious. We paid the extra to stay in' the Adults Only' which I can't recommend highly enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, having visited the non adukts only area of the complex, I can say that we would have hated it there. It was noisy and crowded, especially around the pool where the sunbeds literally touch each other side by side. Having said that, if you're with children it looked ideal. The pool, massive excess of very well spaced sunbeds, superior dining experience and overall more serene ambiance was well worth the extra expense. Pros.. Extremely clean rooms, wonderful staff throughout, good selection of food (I don't eat meat and my husband doesn't eat fish but we still had choices each mealtime), beautiful beach but footwear is advisable for the hot shingle, beautiful grounds which are meticulously maintained. Also liked the luggage was taken from the coach to our room on arrival and was collected from outside the building for departure. Cons. The location is isolated but you should know this before booking. Lacks a private lounge area. No opportunity to take a leisurely stroll along the seafront or to neighbouring towns, bars or shops. It is what it is and if you book knowing what you'll get, you won't be disappointed.

Despite there being a few things that did down our experience, the overall time was amazing! There was lots to do, such as biking, swimming, going to the beach and much more. Us brits are not really used to everything being 16+ , so if you are coming with under 16s, there are only a few activities they can do. The food was lovely, but it did seem a bit repetitive. Having the same food everyday was quite boring for an all inclusive resort. We were very disappointed at said ‘MAGIC night’ as the food was basically the same, and they just put up decoration. The deserts were delicious though. The cleaning was nice, yes, but the cleaner was very rude to my son by kicking and shoving him out the room when he was left alone. (He was 12). The pool bar had some nice things to do in the day, since the main restaurant wasn’t always open. The man who was generally stationed there (I didn’t catch his name) was very nice and had the best English as well. The pool was amazing but beware, the main activity pool is not heated, and gets absolutely freezing on cold days. There is a heated pool, but it is a small family one for little kids. The probable worst occasion was the fact that the kids club (7-9) happened in the bar. They would do dances and listen to music, yeah, but was very in the way and louder than needed. Considering they have their own playground and section, it was very annoying. May I mention that you can hear EVERYTHING. Whether it’s the other side of the resort, or the neighbouring room, you could hear it. Overall it was great, but a few things brought it down.
