Hotel Palomar Phoenix

Don't let the pictures fool you. I'm so disappointed! Stayed for two night and booked 2 rooms and both were very disappointing. One had a strong ********* odor another smelled like sweat and old. The pool was small and dirty as well. The room's leather furnitures' were peeling off as well. I will never book this hotel again.

Went to a concert at footprint center and the location was perfect. It would be great for those attending either baseball or basketball events downtown. Loved our stay

Was a very nice stay. First time in AZ, for Game on Expo. Had a blast and the staff was great. Would and will likely stay again if I am in the area.

The room was dirty and in disrepair. Front desk changed the room I paid for just because the room I paid for did not have the extra pillows I asked for !

Everything would have been great for our wedding night IF a couple things were different. 1) I was told there would be some goodies left for us but showed up to nothing extra and 2) when we arrived we were told the power would be out from 12am -2pm it's 5am as I'm writing this and power is still out. I get warm really easy to I just walked down 9 flights of stairs to get some air and 9 flights back up. I know the hotel doesn't have control over the power outage due to it being City work, but someone could have let me know when I called earlier so I could have had the option to go somewhere else.

We stayed at the Kimpton because of its proximity to the Footprint Center and great restaurants. The hotel has an amazing rooftop bar as well as one on the 2nd floor; morning coffee/tea and wine at social hour. Comfortable bed and room cleaned daily. The only thing I was surprised at was the condition of the two swivel chairs at the table. They've seen better days and don't fit with the classy vibe of the hotel - they looked as if they were bought at a thrift shop. Courteous and professional front desk personnel.

Had an amazing time. They were very considerate. I brought my elderly dad and it was cold at night and they brought a heater and blankets. Also food was good pool was heated. I will definitely come back soon.

Great location. Within walking distance to a lot of awesome bars and restaurants. Clean, modern rooms and very spacious. Would definitely stay again!

Overall, a beautiful property in a wonderful location with restaurants and such. However, our room was fairly dirty, with areas of caked on/streaked discoloration to the side of the bed and across the front of the entertainment center. I felt bad calling, but ultimately requested they send someone the next morning to clean those specific areas. I was ensured it would be taken care of, but it was not and I ultimately cleaned the surfaces myself a few days later. No information given regarding the amenity fee and how to best utilize what was paid for. Online it said the fee would include a discount at the restaurants but this discount wasn’t received when I got my bill for room service. We also called for the advertised diffuser and a tooth brush, which were never received. Had several unexpected knocks on the door from staff attempting to deliver items for other rooms at late hours. Overall, was a lovely hotel and we’d stay again, but the service and cleanliness wasn’t what I anticipated for the price we paid.
