The location had great views over the valley, including the early morning sea of cloud. The property has a rooftop lookout that our group could get together to enjoy the view. It helped that our taxi could drive through the narrow road of Mengben village and deposit us and our luggage on the doorstep of the homestay. This is unlike Wengji & Nuogang villages, where cars are not allowed to enter the village but deposit visitors at the village carpark. The hospitality of the owner/hostess was remarkable. She had a Pu'er tea table and made us endless cups of different tea all grown in her farm, explaining their differences and virtues. She did not charge us a cent for the whole experience. Neither did she try to hard sell the tea leaves although we did buy a small amount off her because we enjoyed the tea. She is a good cook and whipped up breakfast and lunch for us.

นี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่เรามาที่ Pu'er และเรารู้สึกโชคดีมากที่ได้จองที่พักนี้ ทันทีที่เราเข้าไปในที่พักเราได้รับการต้อนรับและเชิญชาจากโฮสต์ที่ยอดเยี่ยมของเรา แม้ว่าเราจะพูดภาษาจีนไม่ได้มากนัก แต่โฮสต์ของเราก็แสดงความอดทนและความเข้าใจที่ไม่ดี พวกเขาให้คําแนะนําเกี่ยวกับการเดินทาง แบ่งปันชาประเภทต่างๆ กับเรา และเราได้รับรอยยิ้มมากมาย 😀 ห้องพักสวยงามด้วยองค์ประกอบไม้มากมาย ระเบียงขนาดใหญ่ และเตียงกว้างขวางมีความแข็งสมบูรณ์แบบเพื่อให้นอนหลับฝันดี มันสะอาดมาก ไม่มียุง ไม่มีกลิ่นเหม็น 🙌🏼 ทําเลที่ตั้งดีเยี่ยม เป็นพื้นที่ที่เงียบสงบและสะอาด มีร้านกาแฟที่สวยงามริมทะเลสาบและร้านอาหารในบริเวณใกล้เคียง นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นร้านสะดวกซื้อขนาดเล็ก เราหวังว่าจะได้มาที่นี่อีกครั้งในอนาคต ขอบคุณอีกครั้งสําหรับโฮสต์ที่น่ารักของเรา 🙏🏼

L’hôtel est particulièrement bien placé dans la vieille ville où il est très agréable d’évoluer puisqu’il n’y a aucun véhicule. Et tous les commerces sont à quelques mètres mais ce que le marché de nuit, l’hôtel et calme la nuit bien qu’on entende les bruits du dehors mais de façon modérée. En revanche la journée il y a des travaux dans l’hôtel qui sont pas particulièrement bruyant et qui empêchent définitivement tout repos pour la journée.

考慮到回程方便，在景邁最後一晚選擇了這家，觀景，非常好，老闆和老闆娘都很熱情，大堂的佈局很有品味，各種植物和擺設都讓人很放鬆舒適，隨便一張躺椅或沙發，都能慵懶地躺下欣賞窗外的美景，房間裏有很多小零食，泡澡浴缸，投影以及泡茶的茶台茶具，連茶葉老闆都貼心準備了。每間房間拉開窗簾就能看雲海，可惜我們到的那天雲海有些清淡，留着下次再去。

I just left this beautiful place, owned by an even more beautiful lady. Don’t hesitate to book it. You won’t regret it. Let me start by saying that if you are a foreign passport holder, don’t worry, they welcome everyone. In terms of cleanliness, this house defines the meaning of “sparkling clean.” It is literally spotless. The guesthouse is decorated so beautifully. The tea setup, the garden, the little balcony for breakfast, everything feels special. The bed is extremely comfortable, and everything works perfectly. I will 100% stay here again if I am in the area and will recommend it to all my friends.

在景邁山五天四晚 ，兩晚在這家民宿，第一次覺得寫評價有點難，不知道如何入手，因為太多出乎意料的地方，那就讓我慢慢寫吧！ 民宿特點： 設計： 我個人認為是極具特色的民俗，堪稱一步一景，女兒超喜歡這個民宿，覺得設計很有品，我喜歡的是設計的用心，越關注越覺得有內涵，每一處都透着美學，讓人不自覺就慢下來。老爸愛上了池塘裏的龜，第一天就幫龜走完了一年的路。這裏進門的大廳就是極具特色的古老傣族吊腳樓，也是最早的民宿仙貢家。院子裏還有一顆超大的古樹。 房間： 老爸住一樓，開門就是泳池，坐在池邊看雨，愛上了雨，這裏也是很出片的地方。我住在三樓，每一層都有眺望遠處的空間，隨處都可落座，女兒喜歡在門口寫作業。樓層越高越覺得私密，比如頂樓的觀雲海，冥想的地方，四樓的圖書室、健身房，真是五臟俱全。房間很乾凈，床很舒服，配備了除濕機、蒸汽木桶浴缸等。 服務： 這個酒店的服務模式，我很喜歡，如同我去廣西蘑菇屋一樣，有專屬的管家，入住前就發了注意事項，酒店活動等，到店後，管家王淼就介紹了民俗全貌。我特意留了一整天在民宿，果然這樣選擇是對的。芳芳是很作業的茶藝老師，帶我們泡茶，講關於茶的各種知識，帶我們去茶廠體驗，回來製作茶餅，前後2個多小時，我們都很享受。住店期間隨時可以找她泡茶，慢慢的就有新的客人加入，大家便因為一杯茶聊了起來，相互認識。酒店還提供了糯乾的專業旅拍，免費贈送6張，糯乾的體驗感直網上升。酒店每天都有烤奶茶，晚上有篝火晚會和歌手演唱，大家圍着火爐聽原唱傣族歌曲，有一種名族的氛圍感。名宿吳老闆堪稱寶藏，兩天的出行都帶着我們，路上給我們腦補了很多當地人文，特別幽默的男士，後來才知道他還是金牌導遊，真是遇到寶藏。過程中遇到了突發事情，都及時幫我們處理，是個非常專業且周到貼心的老闆。 餐廳： 酒店有自己的餐廳，味道也很不錯，院子對面還有當地人的燒烤，也很好吃。酒店的早餐很豐富在三樓每天都在鮮花雲海中就餐特別幸福。 這個酒店我超喜歡，豐富了我的行程，填補了我旅行中的人文，走的時候女兒有點不捨，因為他們都好好，有些像家人。

The YU MI apartment was clean and as beautiful as on the pictures. We stayed 2 nights and managed to use most of the apartment amenities such as a washing machine, TV (English speaking movies included), WIFI (fast and reliable), kettle and hair dryer. The bathroom was spacious and equipped with a western toilet. The stuff was very kind and helpful, they went the extra mile to assure our satisfaction, whether by storing our luggage or borrowing to us a knife for cutting fruits. The area has plenty of good restaurants right in front of the building (inside/around the shopping mall). At night a street market pops up with tasty food. And for those enjoying coffee or tea, the shopping mall offers plenty of shops selling local tea and coffee. We highly recommend to stay at Yu Mi.

สุขอนามัยที่ดี บริการดี สาวน้อยที่แผนกต้อนรับสวยมาก มาตอนดึก กินข้าวต้ม ดื่ม เดินทางสะดวก เดิน 5 นาทีถึงสวนซวงไถจิง 15 นาทีถึงสวนสัญลักษณ์แนวทวน น้ําร้อนเพียงพอ และห้องซักรีด สะดวกในการตากผ้า ผ้าปูที่นอนนุ่มมาก มีหมอนหน่วยความจํา นอนจนตื่นอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ

We recently stayed in the Longyu Hotel and we really enjoyed it! The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable: we got a room upgrade which was a really nice surprise and the staff helped us ordering taxi’s multiple times (which was really helpful since we do not speak chinese) as well as recommend a breakfast spot. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully designed and with all the modern comfort needed. The location was easy to reach. Really good value for money! We would stay here again.

All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.
