Porto Marina Hotel

A beautiful place to spend the whole week! As a remote worker I could enjoy the view and peace but also find many things to do during the week. There are couple places you can work from and good wifi coverage. The cabins have a unique design and view. Incredible bed and quiet place.

The experience is incredible - the amount of details in this place is amazing, the staff was always trying to make us happy! the beds are incredible and the views are unmatched. The breakfast is complementary and is off the charts, this place is really a must!

Beautiful location and view from our cabana. The rooftop jacuzzi and nightky firepit were perfect. Lovely fresh breakfast. Very friendly and heloful ataff. Friendly dogs (Mona and Migo) came to visit us each afternoon to bask in the sunshine with us on the balcony. As mentioned in other reviews, some people in other cabana's play musiv very late at night. We even heard someone letting fireworks off at 04:00 so it wasn't as tranquil as expected. However we did still have a lovely time and woulf definitely stay again.

Thiefs! Do NOT stay here! This hotel double charged us for our stay when my English speaking boyfriend who didn’t understand Spanish was checking us out l, and I had to run to the bathroom. They admitted to their mistake but have yet to reimburse us for the money charged, that was over 20 days ago. Every time I reach out to them, I get some made up excuse as to why it’s taking so long. They rob tourists and think they will let it go. They tried to tell us that the refund would take 20 days, but we are still waiting. Do your self a favor, and avoid them, these are crooks! And take advantage of tourists! Do not recommend.

Our time in Guátape and in the hotel Porto marina was fantastic.. we stay a night and I wish we stayed more time.. the food, the marinas(rooms), their services as the boats, the employees everything was excellent

Modern cabins with waterfront views facing the rock, El Penol. The space is beautiful, peaceful with super comfy beds. Loved that the 180 degree view with floor to ceiling windows. Curtains blackout as needed. There's a small kitchen behind the bedroom where we had access to a hot water maker. During the day, it is very quiet and peaceful, somehow at night there's music blaring from outside late into the evening. People seem to party quite late in the night, just be aware you can hear music bumpin' which seems odd in this small town. Fantastic staff, they use Whatsapp to communicate and is quite helpful if you download the Spanish translator. They helped us fill the hot tub to arranging a special car to travel further out. The walk from the lobby to the cabins is gravelly, and the hike up/down to the restaurant is not so convenient, again something to be aware. Breakfast was awesome with 3 options to choose from. L-occitane Verbena bathroom products was a nice touch. It is true that the driveway up to the property is rough and bumpy, so more ideal if you don't plan on going back and forth to the room. It was fine for our 2 day stay. They have 2 kayaks at the dock. Since it was October, their low season, we barely saw any guests so we had a chance to kayak and see the views on water. Funny enough, the property is right across from an infamous character of Colombian history. Overall, it was a gorgeous stay and would recommend.

Great Hotel food was amazing the staff is always looking for ways to please you. The Hotel has 3 special memebers called Migo, La mona and a new one that we couldn't name when you go make sure you take care of them definetly recommend this Hotel

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I travel the world and this is the first place I’ve been to where you get the rustic cabin feel but with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. Excursions, bar, restaurant with great food and the staff is very courteous and helpful.

The hotel is perfect for a fun getaway with friends, food and drinks are amazing, the marinas as they call their rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the top jacuzzis are something else and the feeling of the forest is amazing!
